I did the same thing. I just put Cabo San Lucas, MX and June 2011. That way it's similar to a souvenir T-shirt that someone might buy.

Hi Joe, I recommend trying Villa del Arco, Villa la Estancia, and Villa del Palmar. They are wonderful condo-style resorts right next to one another. They are closer to town than Marbella, so you have the option to walk into town and avoid taxi fare. Villa del Arco is VERY kid friendly and even has a giant pirate ship near the pool for the kids to play on. I believe they have a kids program as well. The resort also does weddings. As far as a coordinator, it all depends on how hands-on you are willing to be. Finding a photographer, officiant, etc will take some research, but you can really find everything you need on this site. Additionally, you'll get some help from the coordinator at the hotel/resort. Yay! - it seems crazy but I'm much more excited about the wedding now that we reached our one year mark! It makes the countdown much more real! Congrats!! I got carried away on my save the dates right away and addressed them all as "mr and mrs" etc. Looking back (and basically after getting about half way through them) I wish I would have been more informal about it and waited for the actual invite to be formal. Personally I think addressing people simply by name gives a much less formal vibe...which I wish I would have done! Don't forget to post some pictures! I'm looking forward to seeing them!

Thanks for the great review! Sounds like a wonderful wedding! We're getting married at this same time of year next year so I really appreciate the notes about the weather during the cruise. Your picture link is not working though, can't wait to see some pics!

We purposefully chose to have the wedding on a Friday so that our guests wouldn't feel the need to leave the day after the wedding. This way they will be at least able to stay through Sunday without worrying about missing more work.

Airfare for most major carriers is released approximately 330 days prior to the date of travel. So, June prices should start coming out in July.
