We changed our minds and would like to have him DJ for us and I'm looking for his contact info :-) Even though we're a day apart on our weddings...I am going to call you my "date twin"...close enough anyways...LOL...and we seem to be the same for everything else We are meeting Karla at 10 am on Monday. DJ Bob has a website Wedding DJ and there is an email link through that. He also replies under a different email address [email protected] so you could always contact him through that one as well. I have to admit that I was panicking a bit over the past 2 weeks because I had emailed him and didn't hear anything back from him (and usually he's really good about replying). It turns out that he is on holidays right now and just wrote me back today. He said that he would be back to work around September 16. So just in case he doesn't respond right away...that would probably be way. BUT...(not to be a major bummer)...keep in mind that we were originally planning our wedding for October 16 and when I asked him about DJing this night he said he was already DJing for a wedding at the Palladium. Who knows...this could have changed...so it's worth a shot...but you might want to have a back up plan.

I can't wait...it's going to be a great time!! I will keep you all posted...and definitely post the pictures...

  10. Welcome fellow Albertan Congratulations!!
  11. We are doing a bit of everything...OOT bags with personalized luggage tags and miscellaneous items...personalized bubba kegs (travel mugs)...personalized maracas...and palm tree tealight holders... I really like the Mexican Christmas ornament...that's a cool idea!!
  12. I really like the JR MOH idea as well... I am in the same type of situation. My FI and I have children from previous relationships. I have a 15 year old daughter and he has 2 sons who are 11 and 8. To us, our "family" is one of the most important parts of this whole marriage. We are having our children as the MOH and Best Men. We also each have 3 BM and 3 GM. I have explained to my best friend...that she is my "unspoken" MOH and she totally gets it. She would never want to take away that honor from my daughter. We also know that my best friend needs to sign the register and set up the stagette...obviously because of their ages...but on our programs we will list our children with the most important titles and they will stand right next to us on the day that we marry. I just really couldn't even imagine it any other way. One more thing that I should add is that a DW is somewhat untraditional...therefore even though our bridal parties will be lopsided (5 boys, 4 girls)...it still works out fairly well in an untraditional way. The youngest boy will walk out with the flower girls to guide them in the right direction...the older boy will walk out with the rings (no ring bearer)...and the oldest girl will walk right before I do with my Dad. I really believe that with a DW...anything goes

I also ordered the lanyards from them too.
  14. Liposuction all the way baby!!!!!!!!!! But then I guess a tummy tuck would be inevitable because of all the droopy skin...
  15. I was in the same boat as you...searching and searching... I got all of my supplies from West Coast Lanyards and even though they were based out of California...they were soooooooo good to work with. I ended up getting the badge holders, lanyards, luggage tags, and luggage tag straps (buckle type) from them. Depending on what you order...you can order as little as 10 pieces. With the exchange rate right now...it might be worth taking a look at? Another place that would have been a backup for the luggage tags was Home Depot. If you go on their site...they have them but just don't know about the loops. The badge holders are hard to come by though. Hope this helps...good luck in search!!
