I agree with the rest of the ladies. It is yours and your FI day no one can take that away. Both my FI and I know not all of our family will be able to make it but that is why we are having an AHR just like what you are thinking. Try and take what people say with a grain of salt. Just because they are feuding does not mean that they have to include you in the fight. It was also hard for me to get my parents on the idea of a DW wedding however now they are excited. My mom HATES with a passion getting to the spot (ie flying/driving) but once on the ship she will be fine. Just hang in there. Not everyone will agree but when it comes down to it, it is your day with your FI. Good luck and hugs!.

The pocket folder and back ground would be metallic the cardstock we use to print would be just plain solid. I just ordered a sample of the colors I want from cardsandpockets.com. We will see what it is like in person and do a trial run with what I want to put on them. Im soooo excited. You ladies are great and have helped me so much. This is just great

Our guest list keeps climbing. We are know looking at over a 100 invites. I love to put my own work into it however since the number is climbing I keep going back and forth. My FMIL is all about helping along with my FSIL and my mom along with my friends. So many ideas and things you can do its crazy.

I also have a friend who loves taking pics who asked if she can do ours. She isnt charging us anything we will just pay to get them developed. I so think its worth it.

I really want to do my own DIY invitations. I have this grand idea in my head but no clue how to get started. I want the pocket invitations. The invite would have a pic of us on the front. The middle would be the invite and in the pocket to the right would be all the info that is enclosed. I went to envelopperinc.com to look at just buying the envelopes but it can get pricing. Anyone know how to get good cheap envelopes like this? Also point me in the right direction so I can be sane......I would like to rap a ribbon around it and maybe add a starfish to it too. Suggetions??

I work at an apartment complex and we have a workout room. What I do is walk for an hour and do crunches and some arm work. I then eat lunch at my desk that I bring from home. I strongly believe it atleast do crunches and pushups each day

My advice is keep and open mind. Try on something you dont think you would like because those usually are the best . Also bring people who you trust.

Thank you everyone I appreciate it. Everyone is doing such a great job. Its a good feeling getting closer each week to your goal. My motivation is when my kids look back on my wedding pics I dont want them to see a mother that was over weight but someone who was glowing on her day.

I keep going back and forth on my answer. I dont think I would get up and walk away from it I would talk it over with you on why you would think I may flake out. IMO I wouldnt do it I would say I want you to be in my wedding this is what my plans are. If you see yourself not being able to commit to this please let me know in these many days. Things happen. Enjoy your planning. You paying for your BM's is nice however people who have their BM's pay for there things are not tacky at all!

OMG. I never thought I would be on top. I have been working my arse off. WOW. I want to say congrats to all the ladies. Sorry I have not be able to post much but its been crazy with my new job.

I so have to vent. I want to pull out my hair. My f'n car pooped out on me. I was on the freeway for an hour waiting for a stupid tow truck. Finally on my way to work I had to get something to eat I was starving and have not eaten all day. I went to Burger King. WTF. Seriously....Now I cant get home to change before the Elton John concert. I feel like a big junk in the truck gross person who is very pissed off.
