    I am in the same boat. My wedding is May 23rd at Excellence in Riveria Maya. My fiance swears this is all hype from the media and that we will all be fine, but I have 27 people flying to Mexico during a swine flu epidemic. This is seriously making my head ache. I can't decide to change locations or wait it out and risk the potential of people catching the flu. I really don't want to be the reason anyone gets sick. Any suggestions?

    Hi Ladies, Are you doing a rehersal dinner with just the bridal party and parents or a welcome dinner for everyone who is attending the wedding? Thanks for the advice! Jaime

    I just received an email from Veronica stating we only need to pay the day pass for the photographer. Just to be on the safe side I'm going to bring the email chain with me as proof if they try to charge me $150 to have someone not work for me. That policy is ridiculous!

    We were together for 5 years when we got engaged and we will be together 6 and half years when we get married.

    We are getting married on Saturday, but over Memorial Day weekend so our guests will have enough time to relax and not take too much vacation time. When I was in contact with the Wedding Coordinator she infomed me that if you want a legal wedding it can't be on Sunday.

    Hi Everyone! Endlesslove, have you heard back from Veronica about using Maurice for your welcome dinner? I think that is such a great idea since he's included in the package! I have used Maurice for our engagment pictures and he was just okay, but I don't think wedding quality. He didn't edit out any tan lines or red eye. Also does anyone know how the welcome dinner works? Is it a rehersal dinner the night before the wedding? Do we get to pick the location? Thanks for all your help! Jaime

    Thanks SMF47! You had really good points. I didn't even think about about the wind/hearing issue. We are definitley going to do the beach ceremony. When we were at Excellence last year I was able to sneak a peak at a wedding on the pier, but there weren't too many quests.     This is such a great post! Thank you so much for all the great infomation. Since there can be up to two brides on the same day, do they stager the time of each wedding?

    Hi Everyone! I am getting married at ERC in May 2009 and my fiance and I are torn on what location to have the actual ceremony. We went to scout out locations last year and the wedding planner (Noemi at the time) informed us we could have the ceremony on the pier, beach or gazebo. We are between the beach and the pier. We are having about 25 guests and I want to make sure everyone will be comfortable. Does anyone have any opinions? Thanks. Jaime
