  1. I always use the excuse that "I will start tomorrow" and I also am one of those people with the "what the hell effect".

So, when I had 33 to lose, I decided to set 5 pound goals for myself. When I hithat goal, I would feel so proud and accomplished that it was motivating! When I hit 15 pounds lost, I told myself I would buy really great sunglasses for my trip... and I did. I bought Ray Ban aviators that I had always wanted. We are all hee in this thread because we are not where we really want to be, so you can be assured you are surrounded by people who understand where you are coming from with your sucesses, failures, stumbling points and frustrations. Keep moving forward!! Well said, nsbride! I also find it helps to have a target outfit - as you start to lose weight, it starts looking better and it makes you want to work harder to get into it.

  5. I LOVE your dress! It looks like its made for your body!
  6. This is how we worded ours. Smart Casual: Ladies – Sundresses/dress clothes that would be appropriate for a summer wedding. Men - Khaki/Dress Pants or Shorts, collared shirt (short or long sleeved). Outdoor summer wedding attire would be appropriate.
  7. I want to join!! April 16th works perfectly for me, as does the Friday weigh in!!
  8. I wouldn't send them an invitaton. They won't really have a place to sit if you have a seating plan at your reception and they aren't included on it.
  9. Thanks for all the great wording advice! This is what I have decided to have on the note on front of the box. POSTCARD GUESTBOOK Please share with us your advice or well wishes It can be serious funny or clever Just a little something from you To help them make it forever!
  10. Im eating well, exercising a few times a week, drinking tons of water everyday and getting chemical peels every month.
  11. I was also thinking about tipping our wedding planner. We're taking so much down with us already, I couldn't imagine bringing anything else.

  14. For the Fort McMurray girls, there is a Bridal Extravaganza at Mac Island this Sunday from 2PM - 6PM $15.00 admission.
  15. Thank you so much! That's very helpful! I will go and check out that website.
  16. I don't think its inappropriate. My FI is going to wear short sleeves under his suit. It's going to be so warm, I would feel bad asking him to wear both a suit and a long sleeve shirt.
  17. I got mine all make up cases from coach, wallets and an engraved jewelry box.
  18. I actually had a similar situation. With one of my BMs it got to the point where I wouldn't hear from her for weeks and a lot of things she promised to help me with, I ended up doing it alone. I eventually sat down with her and told her that I understood she was busy, but I needed someone to help me and if she didn't want to be involved then that was fine, but I would have to find someone to fill her spot.
  19. Hello! Just wondering if there are any others getting married at Villa del Arco? FI and I are getting married there November 12, 2010.

  21. Anytime I travel, I usually book it through expedia. We've had nothing but positive experiences with them. We gone to Jamaica, Mexico, England, France, just to name a few through them.
  22. I'm hoping you guys can help me out a little. I want to have a postcard guest book - Guests will fill out a postcard with their well wishes, etc and put it into a nice box. My mom or maid of honour will take all of the post cards home and mail one out every 1-2 weeks for us. I'm trying to figure out the wording to put on the box, so that the guests understand what it is and what to do. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks! Stacey
