  1. Jess, I bet in situations like you and Autumn getting married so close, that when you leave Dreams they can hold it for her at the front desk. I work for attorneys and I send many boxes of documents to hotels ahead of the attorneys so it is there when they get there. The hotels have no problem holding stuff for incoming guests when the timing is so close. They just don't hold it for months. So maybe that could work??
  2. Autumn, I am glad I am not the only one who thinks my fiance is crazy with wanting to put the bags together down there. But not having to bring the stuff down in nice. I am def. want to preorder the bags and bring them down with us. And then since we will be there 3 days before the wedding, we can take one morning and just head into town and hit up the market downtown and get some authentic mexican stuff for the bags, then head over to costco for snacks and such. We are also going to get the groomsmen some tequila down there as part of their present. Whew I guess I am going to be doing a lot of shopping! Kimberly, don't freak!! I am sure Rebeca has a backup option for your wedding. And like Autumn suggested the beach and the world terrace are other options for you. How did so many extra people start to book?? We are planning on putting on our invites "Please note, that unless invited, no guests are allowed." Is that rude?? I just totally can't afford to go way over our budget just because my FI's mom's boyfriend wants to bring his grown up kids and mother with him for example. And Autumn I am totally in love with the Dreams Traveling starfish idea!!! Let us know what you find and decide on and how we can help!
  3. I thought $15 per chair was pretty silly too! With almost 45 predicted guests the last thing I want to spend $675 on is chairs and like Jill said who will really remember the chairs! And I think Rebeca said that for the centerpieces, the $55 is just for the flowers unless the candles are incorporate with the centerpiece, she sent me some pics where they were. But I could totally be wrong. I know she did quote me $80 for tealights around the pool, which to me is TOTALLY silly since I can buy 100 for $5 at Ikea. But I think I am going to suck it up for the $55 for the centerpieces since I don't see myself lugging stuff down there for the centerpieces and then wanting to lug it back. Jill can't wait to see the pics of your welcome bags!! My fiance wants to wait to make them until we are down there so we don't have to carry all the stuff down there which is totally making me panic but I am going to see how I feel closer to the wedding!
  4. Meg, those are soo beautiful!! Like Christie said, major KUDOS to Ana!! The palm tree logo with your names on the inside is so beachy and classy!
  5. Autumn, they look freakin fantastic!! I especially love the picture of your fiance with the invite ! Men do get so many great DIY ideas and then leave us to do all the magic to make it look great. And you did such an amazing job!!

Pronovias huh - thats such a difficult one to track down as its probably one of the 100's of smaller designer labels under the Pronovias umbrella! At least its a starting point! Thanks so much for your help! BDW magic! Thank you! I am absolutely in love with the dress. I was nervous right after I bought it that I hadn't looked enough but every time I look at the pictures of me in the dress I fall even more in love with it. Totally BDW magic, I can't name the number of brides who have helped me. So I am super stoked to pass on some BDW magic!
  7. Okay they said it was a Pronovias but I didn't see it on the Pronovias site. Hope this helps!!
  8. The ones in the Ultimate package are banquet chairs with the white cover on them...I believe. And I think the tiffany chairs don't have a cover on them and are nicer...Maybe Jill, if you could, post the pics Rebecca sent? Bc now I am confused too.........

It really can't hurt and since you have to order invites in increments of 25 you will have extras anyways! And you may get gifts out of the deal, but at least they feel included and maybe once they get the invite in the mail they will change their mind and come!
  10. Thats my dress!! I can't believe you found a picture of it, I searched every where for a picture of it on a model and I couldn't find it. What great taste you have !! My bridal place told me who it is but I can't remember since it wasn't a big name like Pronovias. I ordered mine back in July, so I will call them as soon as they open and ask who the designer was. Here is my post about when I got my dress so you can see it on a real person not the model http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t43441
  11. You look amazing in your dress! That is so awesome you experienced the running of the brides and found an absolutely amazing dress. Props to your seamstress she did an outstanding job of altering your dress down to you!! And I think your hair would look beautiful both ways, but hey if your fiance was thinking down and wavy then go for it! I wish I could do it, my hair would just get all frizzy so I am wearing mine up.

I will attach it just so you can see it for yourself. PRICE LIST.xls
  13. Congrats you really did get a steal!! Both dresses are beautiful!
  14. Absolultely amazing TTD photos!! All the little details from the surrounding cave almost let you discover something new each time you look at them. I totally agree that they should be in some magazine somewhere.

  16. I am getting May 14th, just after you!! I am actually going to be sending out my invitations in October, so before the holiday rush. Just so I can give my guests a good six months to reply by since I know some of them are trying to save enough $$$ to go. And sending them out after Christmas only gives people a three month window with my TA to do her payment program, whereas if they book before the first of the year they have 4-6 months to span out payments. My best friend is designing them and working on them right now so that she can send them to me by the end of september to get out the first week of October! I am asking my guests to respond by March 1st, since I also have to work on finalizing numbers before the wedding. And I haven't heard of RSVP'ing to the TA. I have only heard of you, and then they are on their own to call up the TA and arrange travel for themselves. And if you give them all the information to contact the TA they should know to do it all themselves.
  17. Autumn your new pic is awesome I love the taco hat! I just saw you were from Phoenix, I went to ASU and am will be in Scottsdale for my bachelorette party in Jan! Small world!

  19. I knew I had seen dress number 2 on another bride and after some searching I found her! Ana looks like she is wearing either the same or a very similar dress to #2, so she may be able to put you mind at ease if you think you would be too hot! And for some reason the hyperlink is not working.... hahah my fiance showed me how...darn macs http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t40861
  20. I absolutely love dress #2 on you. It looks so stunning and doesn't cut you off at all. I think dress #1 cuts you off in the same fashion the reese dress did, it just does it with all the pleats. And dress #3 looks nice but doesn't scream buy me and the last one from the private seller is really pretty but may cut you off as well with the extra beading around the knees. But I think #2 is just beautiful!
