Congrats! That sounds like a lot of fun getting married on the ship and sounds way less stressful! Are you planning to use a photographer from the ship for your beach pictures or hiring a local photographer from the port of call?

I don't know if you are looking for an all-inclusive "Dreams" resort, but I am getting married at a small boutique hotel has 22 rooms, Cabo Surf Hotel in San Jose del Cabo, which is right next to Cabo San Lucas. I have not actually been to the hotel yet, but we chose this place thinking that it should be more private than some of the resorts in the busy part of Cabo. I didn't want to be having my ceremony while beach babes are walking around in their itty bitty bikinis. : ) I will be posting a review when I get back. Good luck with your planning.

For those of you who have rented a car... how much was the insurance? I just found out that my insurance coverage here at home will not cover a rental car down there. So I would love to know how much this will cost us. Thanks

I have a similar situation, my Dad can't go because of health reasons. So I have asked my little brother to walk me down. I did have a second idea of my fiance's Dad walking me down. I have been in my fiance's life for over 15 years. Just do whatever is going to make you happy on your special day.

I have cut down to eating under 1500 calories a day and been trying to eat every 2-4 hours. I have cut out pop and sweets, and I haven't noticed a hug difference yet. I am going to give this a shot, hopefully I have enough points. Are you exercising with this diet? I know I need to add this to my diet plan but I just have no time/motivation. Even though I know wanting to be beautiful for my pictures should be enough motivation. I just get tired when I think about doing it.

Thanks for all the helpful info on this. I am also wanting to do the legal wedding in Mexico and wondered about this issue. I have found most brides to do the legal part here first and do the symbolic ceremony in Mexico. I want my marriage certificate and my wedding ceremony date to be the same so it can be our anniversary date too. I wouldn't know which date to pick. : )

I am so sorry to hear this. That is terrible. Sad for the little girl and her family to be going through this, but also sad for you that you will miss them so much in sharing your big day with you. I too am going through kind of a similar situation, not any children sick, but fiance's two sisters and their families probably will not be able to make it, due to unforeseen circumstances, to our wedding either so I an understand how it puts a damper on the wedding plans. I am feeling like I should not be happy and planning my day without them... but what do you do? Hoping for the best for the little one's full recovery. Hope you are able to enjoy your special day.
