  1. Thanks so much for sharing your pictures. WOW!! You were a beautiful bride & it looks like you guys had so much fun. Sandos is in the running for my destination. Thanks again for sharing. AMAZING!
  2. This is good to know but even with the taxes included. dreamdays.com is pretty competitive. I will surely ask my TA to match their prices!

  4. Jacy & I didn't discuss details. Only that my options for the ceremony is the beach (due to my large number of guests) & that my options for the ceremony is the beach or the ballroom (again due to the number of guests).

Bianca, Thanks much for your response. Talked to Jacy about 3 times today & she said that she could accomodate our party of up to 100 guests but the ceremony must take place on the beach & that our options for the reception is either the ballroom or the beach. She also said that the decision on the reception wouldn't take place until October. I'm okay with the options given & now we're just waiting to get the contract signed. I'm getting excited...but nervous!
  6. Hi everyone, I'm new to the site & new to the wedding planning. So I thought that it would be a piece a cake to secure a resort in November of this year. Wrong! This process is very frustrating but from what I hear this is the hardest part. There's so much information but I think I'm overload today. We're working with a TA & we thought that we'd secured Dreams Tulum to now find out that our potential wedding date is not available. Well, anyway it feels a little better to vent. We're looking to get married in Riviera Maya, Mexico & our guest list could go up to 100 (minimum of 60). If you have any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for listening! Kiuana

    Hello!

Welcome to the forum. I new as well but have already found it extremely helpful!
  8. Does anyone know if DPA can hold 100 guests? I know that the website states only a limited number of guests for the ceremony (60) & reception (90)...but wondering if there's a way to bend the rules?
  9. This is a great review & your pics are great. Did you happen to see any weddings at at this resort? I'm thinking about this resort as an option this November.
  10. ladies this has been a great forum...thanks for all the wonderful info...helps in considering DPA or DT.

  12. Hi Jill, Thanks for the info. Do you know the largest wedding party that they can service? From your first outline, I'm reading only 60 people for the ceremony & 90 for the reception. Just wondering as I'm expecting a maximum guest list of 100 people. Dreams PA is on my list of final resorts but I'm wondering if they can accomodate. Please let me know. Thanks!
  13. Congrats Jennifer on your wedding. I'm new to the forum as well as so far it has been great!
