I'm so glad you have things figured out. I think no mater what you had a home town wedding or a DW it would have come to money problem... my DW is only a few hours from me so I do get some of the hometown stresses and the DW stresses hehe keep your head up things will work out for you

Having some things planed could be good, but maybe just give them a list of things they can do. That way you can still do your wedding stuff and they can enjoy a vacation with a wedding

I'm getting married in Aug at Holden Beach, NC The good thing is that its a free beach and a private island... the bad thing is there nothing nearby. I'm spending alot of time just trying to find local places for people to stay... Also with people having/ who had beach weddings how difacult was it to get everything off the beach after the ceramoney I cant wait its a beautiful area and I love the beach house we are staying in!!

Hey I'm Jeni and Ive been engaged since Oct 9th 08 I'm getting married on Aug 22 09!! Both me and my soon to be are in the military and both stationed in two diffent states so we are getting married in North Carolina, the state we met in 10 years ago. We have desited to do a beach wedding and are getting married on Holden Beach it's a small family owned island that have no huge condos or hotels, we are going to get married barefooted on the beach and have the reseption under the beach house my mom rented I hope to get to know everyone and get some good ideas for how to get all this long distance stuff figured out.
