Same thing here, with my FI being long distnce I never asked for help even though its a DW I never thought that he could use the phone/internet too hehe So finaly I fliped out on him for doing all the work when it was him who wanted the wedding (I wanted to elope in vegas hehe ) and he told me just give him a list and he would get it done... turns out he was the one to find the baker and the florist!

parasols are too country hehe dont get me wrong I love souther country I'm having a Pig Pickin for my wedding hehe but I just cant see me with a parasols But I love where your mind is... I never thought of useing something elce... I'll have to think of that My ring bearer is having a wodden piret chest And my flower girls have buckets... Okay my best friend I love her to death but I should have known better when I asked her to be my MOH... wait I didn't she told me she was... anyways not the point here... She is full of herself and very high maintenance and very scatter brain... She has been my best friend for years... BUT from the moment I got engaged (she is simi engaged but not really for over a year but no one will budge on who will move to whom when they get married so they are not yet) I try to talk wedding stuff with her and she talks about what she wants for hers, I try to get things done she talks about what hers could be (mind you never had a date) its coming up 5 months until my wedding and none of my girls have a dress yet. My sister is 12 so thats on my dad and my sister in law just had a baby like 6 weeks ago so I let her slide hehe. but my MOH has done nothing until I get a text from her when I'm in the air port on my way to see my FI saying "I bought my dress for your wedding" WHAT!!!!! Mind you it is there choice but I wanted to see what everyone wanted first and then get them at the same time... So I'm pissed but hopping air planes at the time so I cant talk to much too her, though she dose email me the dress and its one of the ones I had liked but I'm still really mad she just buys one with out talking to me about it first... Seriously who thinks oh the bride wont care what dress I get for her wedding :/ Well fast forward I'm working on the photographers paperwork with my FI and she asks for the MOHs email, well mine has like 40 of them all for different things and at one given time I have no idea what one she is using, so I send her a quick text asking her what one I can give to my photographer and the only text I get back is a "huh" so I ask what she is confused with and get no responds.... so the next day I send her another text with no responds.... so finally I send her a long email about needing her help with some stuff and she really needs to step it up or I will find me another MOH... I understand she is long distance but there are alot of stuff she could be doing long distance, because the whole wedding is a DW!!!! I'm just so frustrated because I'm already not getting a bachlorett party or did not get an engagement party... nor will I have a bridal party So I'm trying to plan my own girls lunchin, on my own, for a few days before the wedding....

I'm so sorry hun I wish there was a way to make people just but in turn everyone has there moments, hopefully she will come around and if not maybe she is just not ment to be there anymore :/

OMG I'm so sick of people inviting there self to my wedding. I'm having a family close friends 50 people MAX wedding and my friends from High school are all into comming!!! I needed to have this farther away hahahaha I hope he gets back to you soon I'm really into this now hahahaha

I have no idea what I want for flowers... I want something simpleish.... but I want something that hangs down over my hands... I'm leaning with yellow I think.... but nothing traditional no roses or carnations agh I have no idea :/ I dont really like flowers so I guess thats whats makeing it so hard...

I'm so sorry hun I dont have words of wisdom, but I can tell you a bit about me... I freaked out about a month ago and was convenced I was threw with everything... the wedding and my guy. Truth was I was just scared, alot of things will be changing in my life and it all got out of control way too fast. First off you need to find out what is best for you and your daughter and then maybe you can lissten to him and find out why he sudenly when nuts, maybe its just fear... maybe he is not ready... maybe he is a jack @$$ and your better off with out... but whatever it is you need to find out and give yourself a chance to heal and move forward. PM me if you need a sholder I'm up all nights anyways (normaly the lonely hours) Keep your head up when you need too, but cry and let it all out too! *hugs*

IS so frustrating at times, not only do we live 15 hours apart I work 12 hr night shift as he is a normal 9-5er!!! I feel like I cant get anything done with out takeing a vacation... then I need a vacation from doing so much planing on my vacation... I have 25 days I can take in the next 5 months and 5 of them I'm takeing next week (to go see him ) My mom is ALOT of help but she is over an hour and a half away and in two weeks she goes in for sergery and will not be able to do much for 6 weeks... My MOH will not get on the ball to find a dress because she wants to "losse more weight" and she lives 14 hours from me so I cant just go snap a ruller at her hehe And my other two BM (and the female groomsmen) cant get theres until my MOH pick hers out!!! I knew having a destanatin wedding would be more work but come on why dose everything have to be long distance... The only people in my wedding party who live near me are my flower girls and there 2 and 4.... NC, LA, TX, IL, VA, VT, GA.... who dose this to there self!

You know I guess I never thought of it because Ive never been to a wedding with aclcohol... I looked at doing a cocktail hour but I worry about my grandma, but now I wory I'll be the "wedding not to have" not that I care what people think but there all travaling to a middle of no where town I dont want them to be disapointed in what I work really hard to offer :/

I found my dress in the first shop the 3rd dress I tryed on.... hahaha I tryed on more some way outside my box but I could not find one I liked better than the one I go

So I keep reading in the thread of things at weddings you would never do the one thing I kept seeing you trash was no alcohol... Why? I'm not having alcohol at my wedding... I dont want my day trashed by a bunch of people acting dumb and throwing up all over the place... Plus my Grandma is really religious and it would make her feel really uncompy. And the beach house they almost would not rent to us with a "party" because it has a pool under a balcony. So is it really that bad to go to a wedding with out alcohol

I got this really cute bathing suit at Venius at the end of last season I call it my Betty Page suit cuz it looks like a Pin up model suit with the sailor ancor and all Though I would like to get a personalised one or a white one I saw a realy cute white one at VS a few weeks back I would post links but I'm at work and cant get on those sites :/
