Hi ladies! I think I will be joining you August brides. I had thought we would wait till early 2011, but FI says he doesn't want to wait. So we have a tentative date set as 8.1.10, but will have to find out if we can get that date once we choose our resort. I've started requesting pricing information from several, so we'll hopefully decide and book within the next couple weeks. I feel like I'm already behind, but hopefully can pull this all together in time!

Well I had thought I would be a 2011 bride but FI says he doesn't want to wait, so we're going to try for this coming summer. Kinda scary as it will be here before you know it, but I'm so excited!

Oh it was delicious! I made sure to get a smaller meal to save room for some strawberry cheesecake. I know where the priorities are, haha!

I finally get to add my ring! I just finally got it yesterday and am sooo in love with it!

Our engagement story actually began back in February, when we picked out the ring. That's when I joined the forum, thinking it would be maybe a month or two more. But I’ve been waiting in anticipation for quite awhile! Andrew decided we should take a trip up to Chicago the weekend before Christmas 2009. I was hopeful this was finally the time it would really happen, but didn’t want to get too excited as I had thought it was “the time†several previous times in the year and was disappointed it had never happened. We first went to the Adler Planetarium. It was alright, more his thing than mine, but it was nice. After checking into the hotel, we took off on a walk down Michigan Avenue. They had lights up on the trees and it was snowing lightly but not terribly cold, so it was just beautiful! We made our way over to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I’m pretty sure we had the best seat in the house. We were right up in the front with a window view of the most gorgeous Christmas tree all lit up! After all that delicious food we went out to get a close up view of the tree. That’s when it happened! He’s not the down on one knee with a huge speech kind of guy, so it was just to the point, but it was completely perfect! Sooo happy!!! And of course, here’s the ring, I love it! We also went to see the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. It was really nice but I couldn't stop looking at my ring, ha!

Congrats Natasha! Steph, you had an amazing loss too!

I was down about a pound this week again! Overall I'm happy that I joined BL and lost a bit, even if it wasn't a huge amount. How did everyone else do?
