EXTRAS I got these shirts for my sister (MOH), my mom, his mom and myself to wear on the flight over there from Customized Girl for a great deal! The dads got hats from Vista Print. Then I got bags for my MOHs, flower girl, and one for myself from Oriental Trading. These shirts are for myself and two MOHs for while we’re getting ready on the wedding day. And last, I got this (free!) shirt from Vista Print to wear on the plane on our way home. Ok, I think that’s finally it. Hope this helps you like others have helped me! Let me know if you have any questions.

OTHER DIY PROJECTS Photo Share Cards. We had to find a way to incorporate our furbaby, Max, into the wedding, and we loved this e-pic so we decided to use this here: Pre-travel Mailer: Reserved sign for our parents during the ceremony: Menu (sorry it’s a tad blurry): Getting ready door hangers: Just Married chair signs: Here is the inspiration for how those will look: ** more to come **

CUPCAKES We are doing cupcakes with a small top tier cake for us. Here is the inspiration for the top tier: And then we'll have three rows of cupcakes and the middle row will have the same flowers on them. My cupcake tower: And my cake topper: And the sign for cupcake flavors: ** more to come **

CENTERPIECES AND DECORATIONS My centerpieces are like this but with ivory colored candles. Then I’ll also have these take home cupcake boxes and “Mint For Each other†packs on the tables. (this one was a trial, the real ones will look nicer) And the place cards for the wedding party: PASHMINAS GUEST BOOK I made this book through blurb with our e-pics and then made some pages for guests to write whatever they wanted or fill out a predictions page. And then made the sign to put up next to it. You can preview the rest of it here: Andrew Cassie | Blurb ** more to come **

BEST MAN I don’t have a pic of him but he’s just wearing a white shirt, tan pants and then we got him the Reef Fanning Ultimate flip flops with the bottle opener on the bottom. He’s going to love them! RING BEARER & VIEs (Very Important Extras) I have four brothers and wanted to include them all in the wedding. The youngest is my ring bearer, the oldest is Andrew’s best man, so I had to think of a way to include the middle two. After doing some searching online I found the title “Very Important Extras†and they liked that, so that’s what we’re going with. I wanted them all to be dressed the same too so they would all feel as important. Their shirts and pants are from Old Navy and their flip flops are from Payless. And my “bling†bearer will carry the ring shell: FLOWERS I went the DIY route for my flowers. I ordered real touch pink cymbidium orchids and mini calla lilies from afloral.com. I used a mix of the orchids and lilies in my bouquet and then used just the lilies for my two maid of honors bouquets and the rest of the lilies for the boutonnieres. BD BOOK I hadn’t originally planned on having professional boudoir pics taken, I was actually going to attempt to DIY them but when the SB girls were going on our trip to Chicago, the wonderful Linds came up with the idea to have a marathon BD shoot with the amazing TammyB. So I decided I couldn’t pass that up and am SO glad I did it! I definitely recommend doing this. There’s no way my pics would have turned out even close to what these are. I love them! Here is my book cover: PROGRAMS I made these paper fan programs. They took forever cutting each one out by hand, but I absolutely love the way they turned out, so it was worth it. ** more to come **

MAID OF HONORS Here is my sister in what my two maid of honors will be wearing. The dress is from David’s Bridal. The shoes are also from the Payless Lela Rose collection. And the hair flower clip I got from seller frayedandfancy on etsy. And their jewelry. The earrings are from Target and bracelet is from etsy seller La Vita Pura. FLOWER GIRL Here is my little cousin in her flower girl “princess†dress! I love that both her dress and shoes are so similar to mine. These pics are before it was altered, but she loved it already! Her headband from seller frayedandfancy on etsy. And she will carry this pomander, from etsy seller spoccdesign. ** more to come **

My hair and make-up inspiration: Rehearsal Dress and shoes: I found a dress online that I loved but it was way out of my budget. So I had a replica custom made on etsy. I absolutely loved her design but had some issues with it not fitting right. So I brought it along to one of my dress fittings and had her fix it. I think it could still use some fitting in the waist, but this is going to have to do. The shoes are from GoJane.com FIANCE’S WEDDING ATTIRE His outfit was waaaay harder to put together than mine. For awhile there I thought we were going to end up having the pantless groom! And you can tell he was not a fan of putting everything on just for a pic for my planning thread, too bad! ** more to come **

MY WEDDING ATTIRE My dress is the Maggie Sottero style Chardonnay. I knew as soon as she was putting it on me that this was my dress. It has everything that I said I wanted. I love it so much! Maggie Sottero, Chardonnay Found My Dress!!! And with my headband and veil: My shoes are from the Payless Lela Rose collection. I got the shoe clips from seller frayedandfancy on etsy. My earrings are my grandma’s, actually the first pair she ever bought. They are the original clip-ons, they actually spin on. My bracelets are from etsy seller pookafan. And my sweater for during the reception if it gets cool out: ** more to come **

SAVE THE DATE I had originally wanted to send STD postcards, but once we moved the wedding date up, it didn’t make sense to spend the money there when I would need to get started on invites shortly after. So we decided to send an e-STD through pingg.com. The site was really easy to use and I was really glad we used it. INVITATIONS I made pocketfold invites from Cards & Pockets. I got the envelope liners from Hobby Lobby and the ribbon from Joanns. The rsvp postcards were from Vista Print. ** more to come **

WEDDING VENUE I’d known for quite awhile that I wanted to do a destination wedding. I have a large immediate family (oldest of 6 kids) and it was really important for me that they be there, so we decided on California to keep the costs down for them a bit. After a long search we decided on the Point Vicente Interpretive Center in Rancho Palos Verdes. I fell in love with the view! The setup will be something similar to this: With these pomanders on each side (bad picture but you get the idea) And the dinner will be in the Center with the dance out on the patio. WILL YOU BE MY MAID OF HONOR CARDS My first DIY project was these cards I made through zazzle.com and sent them to my two maid of honors. MONOGRAM & INSPIRATION BOARD I decided on clover green and fuchsia pink for our colors. So the next projects I worked on were my monogram and inspiration boards. These were so much fun to make! ** more to come **

Wow, how is it already my turn? A big thanks to Tammy and all the mods for creating and running such an amazing forum! It has been so incredibly helpful to me. There’s no way I could have put this wedding together so quickly if it weren’t for all of you! Also a special thanks to all my shout box girls! I never could have imagined that through the process of planning a wedding that I would have made so many amazing new friends! ENGAGEMENT Our full engagement story & pics: Finally an Official Bride 2 Be! We got engaged the weekend before Christmas ’09 in front of this Christmas tree at the bottom of the John Hancock tower in Chicago. So yeah I didn't like the way they did the show at all. I mean I loved seeing the old dancers and the dances were really awesome but was it just me or was it hard to tell which ones are the new dancers from the all-stars? Especially when it was like a group of all girls and wearing the same outfits. I don't know, maybe next week when the competition actually starts it will be differnent. Guess we'll see.
