  1. Here's what we had for dinner tonight. It was super easy to make and pretty tasty! Â Beef Empanadas Ingredients 2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated biscuit dough 1/2 pound lean ground beef 8 ounces tomato sauce 4 teaspoons chopped chilies 1 tablespoon garlic 1 1/2 cups cheese Salt and pepper to taste 1 egg, lightly beaten Sour cream (optional) Mango-peach salsa (optional) Â Directions Brown ground beef. Add tomato sauce, chilies, garlic, cheese, salt and pepper. Pat out each biscuit on cookie sheet and put about 2 tablespoons of beef mixture on each biscuit. Fold biscuits in half and seal the edges by crimping the dough by hand or with a fork. Brush top of empanadas with egg and bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees F. Optional: Serve with sour cream or a mango-peach salsa on the side.
  2. aww Cindy, everything looks amazing!! You're going to be such a gorgeous bride! I'm so excited for you! Can't wait to see pics!
  3. Â I wore Chardonnay at my wedding and absolutely loved it! It is a really full skirt and has a super long train, but it was perfect for me. Here is the thread I posted when I ordered my dress with some pics - Found My Dress. And there are some more pics from fittings in my planning thread link in my siggy. Â I don't have my pro wedding pics back yet, but here are two someone took that shows the full back. Hope this helps. Â Â Â
  4. Aww, congratulations, she's adorable! And what a cute name!
  5. I got some shirts from customizedgirl (at a great price!) for myself, my sister, my mom, and MIL to wear on the plane down. Everyone loved them! And then I got a (free!) shirt from Vista Print (and in our wedding colors!) to wear on the plane ride back home.
  6. Our was pretty close to what you posted. We didn't have a DJ though. We just used our iPod and I had my cousin run it and introduce what was happening. It worked out really nicely. Arrival of guests Intro of Bridal Party Intro of Newlyweds Dinner Cake Cutting First Dance Bride/Father Dance Everyone else join in for dancing
  7. Here's mine I made through Vista Print. We wanted to find a way to include our furbaby, so we used one of our engagement pics with him for these. Although, no one has uploaded any pics to this site, everyone just uploaded to Facebook.
  8. So many great choices. Good luck ladies!
  9. I wore the Maggie dress Chardonnay in light gold. The dress itself has some small silver beads on it, so that's what I went with. The bracelets I wore were pearl with some silver and then I wore a headband with silver beads. For shoes, I chose to go with color, they were pink. I don't have my pro pics yet, but here's some I have although it doesn't help so much for seeing it in the sun, since we had a mostly cloudy wedding day.
  10. Yep, I was very happy with Blurb. Just be careful with your edges. On my bd book, my wording on my cover page was cut off, even though I was pretty sure I had left enough space. So I contacted them and they were so nice and sent me a new book at no extra cost! Thanks! I got the template from someone else on the forum, can't remember who it was, but here's my version. They were really easy to make and I really loved these! mint matchbooks.ppt
  11. Ange, I'm so excited for you!!! I hope your special day is everything you hoped it would be. Welcome to the MRS. club!!! Can't wait to see pics and hear all about it when you return!
  12. wow, sounds like there will be lots of exciting new changes to come, can't wait to see it!
  13. I also don't see what the problem would be for him to propose after the wedding. Right before or the day of, obviously is different and I can see how that might be stealing some of your thunder, that time is about you and your FI. But after the wedding, at least at mine, everyone did their own thing, that was their vacation time. I was actually hoping my friend's bf of 4.5 years would propose during that time. I know she was secretly hoping it would happen, so I would have been really happy for them if it had. But, everyone is different and I don't think everyone will come to an agreement on this subject. I think if it means that much to you then have your FI talk to his friend about seeing if it would be ok for him to wait till after the wedding.
  14. Ange, everything looks awesome!!! You're going to have such an amazing wedding and I know you're going to make a gorgeous bride! I can't wait to hear all about it and see the pics when you get back! Congrats girly!
  15. Hey Bree - I got the cupcake stand at cupcaketree.com and then got fabric at Joanns. I really like the way it turned out. Here's a pic someone took of it at the wedding:

  18. I just got back from my first ever Brazilian wax, so had to give my feedback. This was the first waxing of any kind I've ever gotten, so obviously I was incredibly nervous. But it truly wasn't that bad at all. She used what you were describing sungoddess, the blue wax that she would rub on and then wait till it cools and then rip it off without any strips. So it still obviously hurt, some areas much worse than others, but it was just like a momentary sting that hurt for a few seconds and then it was fine. I'm not sure I'll go again, but definitely glad I gave it a try for my wedding.
  19. Aww, everything looks awesome Krista! You're going to be such a gorgeous bride! Can't wait to see pics when you return!
