  1. alcohol for the wedding : lots of drunk people
  2. Yeah, I know, I was hoping the same. I have heard several people say that it does make you loose a lot of inches, but it does come back after a few days. So, I guess it would be good for an occasion where you need to fit into that little black dress or something.
  3. I know, I've been on a posting/replying roll today. It's addicting; I can't stop!!!! Help I'm addicted to BDW
  4. Ok, good to know. I won't be wasting my $80 on this then!! I'll get a mani/pedi instead!!!
  5. I'm so excited, so excuse me for the stupid thread, but I have to share my excitement with someone!!! It took me almost 3 months, but I finally have accumlated 1,000 points. I love BDW & I'm glad that I have been able to contribute!!!!!!
  6. Just wondering what everyone is doing for music for the ceremony. The only thing we have chosen is the song for the processional (Somewhere over the Rainbow.) Does anyone have any suggestions of songs for the recessional, etc? I kinda want to keep with the hawaiian or tropical feel. Also, how are you playing the music (Ipod, stereo, venue's systems, etc?) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!!!!
  7. OMG, good to know I'm not the only one that has to live with this. Most times the DVR is full b/c of too many car/truck & fishing shows to be able to fit my stuff. Or he will turn it off halfway through my show being taped, then I start watching only to be disappointed to find the end is not there. He says "whats the big deal, it will be on again." I really do think it's a man disorder But I love him anyway!!!!!
  8. Those are all great; way too many that I like to list here. I LOVE the ones with just the sheet & the ones with the pink oufit. Your FI is going to love, love, love them!!
  9. Anyone ever done a cellulite wrap? I don't have much if any cellulite, but they are suppose to be good to detox & possibly loose some inches. Has anyone done one, or any wrap for that matter? I wonder if it's uncomfortable to be wrapped up like a mummy , how long it takes, & what your results were. Thanks for your help!!!
  10. Prior to our trip being cancelled due to the swine flu, we were staying at the Great Parnassus, which looked fantastic for kids b/c of the pirate ship & for party lovers b/c of all the bar choices. You also have all the nighlife on the strip just a few minutes away. We choose this resort b/c of it's great prices & we had the wedding planned at the Casa Magna Marriott. I don't know if you would be interested in staying at one place & getting married at another, but I know some other girls on here have done this as well. I think JennyK stayed at the Great Parnassus & married at JW Marriott (which is right next door to the Casa Magna.) Just a thought!!! If you need more info, I can try to help, as I researched things in Cancun for months (only for our trip to be cancelled)
  11. Your pics are great! I assume that your ceremony was on the sky bar or whatever they call it It was a beautiful setting & you guys looked amazing!! Congratulations!!
  12. Those are STUNNING. I love the fushia & I can see the sheen in one of the pics. Those are great, great job picking them out!!
  13. Those are awesome!!!! My fav is #2. Your FI is going to love them!!! If I were you, I would be dying to let him see them; there is no way I could keep the secret from him when they are that good!!!!
  14. Thats so nice; you must have really great co-workers!!
  15. Contact Rebecca at Allurements by Rebecca. She was offering a free monogram to active BDW members, so maybe you will luck out & she will still be able to do one for you. She did ours (twice, as we had to change our destination 3 weeks before the wedding) & it is beautiful. You might do a search too b/c I know I saw another vendor who was offering a free monogram to BDW members. Good luck!!
  16. I agree that everyone looks better with a little color. I personally think it makes me look a little lighter & more toned (& who wouldn't want to look 5 lbs lighter right:) I tan for roughly 2 months (going a few times a week) every spring to get ready for vacation & boating season You are really in control of whether you burn or not. You have to start out going for a few minutes & build yourself up. Don't go in & tan for the max minutes, b/c of course you will burn. Ask the people at the tanning salon, they will give you suggestions on lotions & how long to go (they are there everyday, they know what works & what doesn't.) Good luck!!
  17. Such a pretty dress; it will be perfect for your TTD session.
  18. Yeah, good call Abbie, you probably can't get it wet, so bring some bags; you wouldn't want to miss out on swimming. My FI just broke his finger & I've been putting a bread bag over his arm with a hair tie at the elbow to hold it in place while he showers (looks kinda funny, but it's the perfect width & length.) I know that might not be the look you're going for on your visit, but who knows, maybe you can start a new fashion statement Have fun on your visit!!!!
  19. I think #2 is super cute, but I voted for #1 b/c it looks like it was taken in Mexico. Makes me wanna be sittin in those chairs, LOL
