  1. I know this may sound silly, but I don't know how many of you watch "Run's House" on MTV, but either their season finale or season premiere was the Hawaiian family vacation & the family stayed at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort. It was absolutely stunning; I actually went so far as to get my laptop out during the show & check out the resort further with pricing b/c we must go there soon. So, if anyone is possibly interested in the Grand Hyatt it might be worth looking up this episode to get an hour's worth of footage taken there. It really does look amazing!!
  2. can't live without them : flip flops
  3. FutureMrsSharpe, I think there are a couple ways to address the cake & first dance issue. We personally did the cake right after the ceremony so that we could have the pictures while we had the photographer still there. So, we cut just the first piece then saved the rest for dessert. As far as the dance, we had anticpated just having to do this at our AHR, but we were pleasantly suprised when the Luau emcee announced our congratulations & played a song for us to dance to. I think you would be amazed at what a WC can get accomplished. I think you will have so much fun at the luau for your reception, I know we did. It lends a bit of Hawaiian culture to your reception, plus it was such a great show with great food & drink. Good luck & I hope all your planning is stress free!!!

It was exactly what we wanted - quiet, private & we were able to have the beautiful scenary of the ocean & beach without having to deal with the sand. As far as the heat, we got married at 3:00 & it was pretty damn hot that day (hottest day of the week - go figure , but I don't think it was unbearable. My dress was a very elaborate, very heavy, beaded dress, so I'm sure had I gone with a lighter fabric, it would not have been so hot. All in all though, I would not have changed a thing. I think the weather was perfect for a beach wedding Good luck!!
  5. I found these as well, Shared Prong Color Stone Eternity Ring 2mm Stones - Combination Eternity Bands, which are a bit closer to the look of the Tiffany's ring, but they don't come in aquamarine. They come in pink, yellow or blue sapphire, emerald or ruby. I'm also a pink fan, so I think that the pink sapphire or even the blue sapphires would be really pretty. **The pic is a bit deceiving b/c it looks like 1 big multi-color ring, but it's actually 3 rings stacked**
  6. I don't know exactly what your looking for, but I found this one 14K White Gold Aquamarine Eternity Wedding Band Ring, & I think it's pretty (but I may be biased b/c it's my birthstone I'll keep looking!!
  7. We took our cake topper. It was our mongram that we had "dedazzled", LOL. We purchased the letters for our monogram, then I glued on some small clear rhinestones to give it some "bling." We gave it to our WC & she made sure it made it to the top of the cake with some flowers around the base. It turned out exactly as we had imagined. I say bring it if you would like, it can't take up that much room in your luggage, or you could just pick some really pretty flowers from your florist for your topper - your choice!! Good luck & congrats!!
  8. I wonder what Khloe & Kim think?? I know that they dislike Scott just as much as we do, for the way that he treats Kourtney. I wonder if what forced them back together was the pregnancy? I hope that for the child's sake that they were back together before she found out she was preggers b/c by some small miracle maybe he grew up, LOL.
