Does going the symbolic route make flighthotel rates cheaper for our guest or does it only benefit us ?

Does anyone know if it is cheaper for us to go with a TA or booking it on our own??

Ok... I'm getting it slowly. The only thing that Im still finding puzzling is don't we still have to send our Canadian documents to DR already translated before they will preform the wedding?? So how do we save?

Can somebody please break it down for me. By getting married at City Hall before we go, what does it mean for us. How will it make a difference for us in DR, why will it be cheaper.....Sorry y´all but it just doesn't make sense to me
