  1. I got the commandos for the wedding but wanted a little more coverage so I also bought the Victoria Secret seamless undies in black. I wore them yesterday and they were very comfortable!
  2. I have the Storm (touch screen) and love it! I had an old flip phone until January and don;t know why it took me so long to make the switch. The bb especially came in handy with all this planning.
  3. Thanks for sharing such a comprehensive review and your amazing pictures! Everything looks beautiful and you did a great job putting it all together. I love the yellow and white color sheme, cake topper and ttd @ the waterfalls. You two make a lovely couple. Congrats and many blessings to you both!
  4. Aren't the cards gorgeous?! I actually designed the same ones for my photoshare cards. Great idea to use them as response cards.
  5. I ordered hair flowers a few months back and although they were nice, I decided not to wear them for my wedding. I found a wonderful and talented seller on etsy and probably should have worked with her from the start. Her shop is Mikiye and her work is superb! I just got my hair flower in the mail and it's perfect! Elegant Bridal Hair Accessories and Unique Jewelry by Mikiye I got the glistening beauty.

You're wedding is the day after mine! I still haven;t decided how I want to wear my hair also?!
  7. 3 weeks from today will be my wedding day! I honestly don't know where the time went. I need to send my WC a long email summarizing all that we want with changes we made from our initial proposal. Plus, I will soon have to make final comfirmations with Photog, airport transfers, DJ Playlist etc. I'm trying to stay focused and not come up with any new ideas/projects. I always watch bride shows and heard of horror stories of people waiting until the last minute to get major stuff done. It wasn't until this week that I ordered my hair flower, table numbers, seating chart. The vendors are so great that they got the stuff to me in days and I'm happy about that! I just found someone to create a beautiful seating chart poster. I tried to work on DIY escort cards and hated them. Glad I didn't wait until the end or I would have been stressing over it. I would like to get as much done next week as possible so there's not too much of a frenzy at the end. My bridal shower( or should I say Jack and Jill shower/bon voyage party) is tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing family and friends, especially those who won't be traveling with us for our wedding. Good luck to the ladies who are getting married in the next few days! By the way... we had our legal day two days ago. It was nice and simple with three witnesses.

  9. New promo code for 20% off: JULY4 it expires 7/5
  10. I agree with food favors... cookies, cake, pastries, jelly beans in your wedding colors, mini Mexican liquor(if you can get in your town)
  11. Don't worry about it! I know in some countries outside of the US people were their bands on the right hand.
  12. Damaris, I'm glad you took a chance with Jen and had such a wonderful experience! I had my shoot with her also and the pictures and amazing. She's so talented and I do agree that she was great to work with because she puts you at ease. There will be some happy FI's out there!

The real wedding wil be our DW. We're also not exchanging rings. I hope this will make me less nervous on the big day! It is funny that our legal dates are one week apart!
  14. Glad it's all working out for you. The last few weeks are definately hectic. I think the best thing is to prioritize and not do everything by yourself.

I sent back a pleasant but direct email regarding the changes and questions I had, but still no answer!!! These decisions and the bill are supposed to be finalized this Monday but I don't see how this is possible if no one returns my emails. Needless to say, I am stressing!! I'm actually thinking I'm going to have to call corporate or something. Other than this huge mess I am really excited our wedding is so soon...I just hope all of this gets straightened out before I go crazy!!! Hopefully it will all come together! A lot of these resorts do so many weddings and they pull them off at the end.

  18. My FI is also getting excited. After a year of planning, it's finally sinking in that we're getting married. He got his ring and has been showing it off to everyone. His colleagues had a little celebration for him at work and he was so estatic and happy about what they did for him. A little off the topic but is anyone doing the civil cermony before you leave for the DW? Shhhhh... no one knows that we are getting married legally in a four days.
  19. I found this great site and ordered my oot bags in teal green. They look more green in person but they photograph teal. I got the non woven style D bag. They're great quality for 75 cents each( purchased by the dozen) and guests can use them again. It's actually cheaper than buying a gift bag. The company has canvas totes, colored totes(could match one of your colors) and drawstring totes. I ordered the bags and recieved the package within the week. The only thing is that shipping can be a little high but it's also about the same as cheaptotes and other sites. bandanas, beanies, baseball caps, tote bags, headbands, wristbands
  20. Oh no! I actually went to the post office two seperate times to have my invites weighed just to be safe.

We have several (10) guests like this. So frustrating, but that is just the way it goes. Those people who really want to be there will, and it will not matter in 6 months. On a side note - I know someone who had 36 RSVPs and 70 people showed up to her DW. OMG! It is crazy not to reply at all, especially to a DW!! I can't believe that so many people didn't respond but showed up anyway. I would be pissed. I think I may have the opposite happen- a few who said they are coming may drop at the last minute. I hope they at least let us know. I hope your family doesn't get upset because a month before traveling the rates will be the highest. Good luck getting them to book a little earlier.
  22. Well I definately suggest that if you order from DM you leave plently of time. I placed an order for personalized totes last month and got a call almost two weeks later that the item was out of stock. I spoke to someone at the company who told me I could do a simple switch of bags with something similar. Then she told me it would cost more than the initial for printing. I asked for a full refund and found a place to get totes in my wedding colors and forget about personalization.
