    Welcome!! You've come to the right place. If you have a strict budget you may want to look into the all inclusive resorts that have good wedding packages. Some of the basic packages are free just as long as you can guarantee a certain number of guests. Jamaica , DR and Mexico are very reasonable and there are many brides here that have married in these locations. Best Wishes!

    Don't worry about it! I agree with KPEG if it's the resort photographer you should be okay. Good luck with eveything and let us know how it all turns out!

    We sent out our STD magnets to our guests 11-12 months before the wedding. Then about 9 months before we provided them with our travel agent's info and group rates. We also created a wedding site with all of the information. First you should book the resort/date and research travel rates before sending out the STD's. For now you can spread the word to your immediate family and friends.

    You probably should bring a small stand so it can be displayed when guests are not signing it. I went to Michaels to look for one a while back and the associate suggested that I put it in some type of portfolio or hard cover folder/cardboard to protect it when traveling.

    Are you talking about the signature mat that can be used as a guest book? I think the size depends on the number of guests you expect. I was thinking about doing this but I'm not sure yet. You wouldn't have to bring the glass and frame, just the mat.

    We're also planning a wedding Aruba and have never been there. I hear that the weather is beautiful all year round.

    I'm a little bias but what about Aruba? Most of the resorts are not AI but it is optional in some places. Great restaurants and beautiful weather all year round.

    Kate: Congrats to such a beautiful couple! Your pictures are stunning and you selected a talented photographer. We also will be having our reception( + ceremony) at the Rennaissace. I'm always excited to meet Aruba brides especially those who chose the Renn. Thanks for sharing!!

    Welcome and good luck planning your upcoming wedding. I went to a DW at the Melia in 08 and loved the resort and wedding. Great choice!!
