  5. ACH2009, Since your friend has offered her veil and you like it, I'd say bring it with you and it could be your 'something borrowed'. I wasn't initially planning on a veil either but my FH really wants me to wear one, cute huh?. Also, after looking at wedding pics I've found I love the dramatic look of a long veil blowing in the wind. So... I picked one up on ebay for $30
  6. Great pics Cattie, I love how there are so many varied poses. FH is gonna flip
  7. Thanks for the suggestion Nikki. I have checked with a couple videographers whos work I like and their minimums are still $1000+ Too much for our budget when we only really need the ceremony. Has anyone had any luck with ceremony videography for under $1000?

  11. Big hug and I really hope you can work this out.
  12. Wow, I love this idea - so cute. I may just use it for my AHR and get some Mexican artisan candies Edna suggested to bring back with me

Oh thats awesome Denise. Glad to hear everything went well. I'm sure you had a beautiful wedding. Thanks for the update & congrats on becoming a MRS!
  14. I love the look of a longer train also. My only concern is the unpredictable wind during the ceremony. Have you considered a 2 tier with a shorter detachable veil? It could give you some options if the wind is too strong on the beach during the ceremony.
  15. I had traditional braces as an adult for 2 1/2 years. Sure it was uncomfortable but the end result is sooooo worth the pain and expense. No regrets, just a beautiful smile
  16. Hey Trayce, I haven't had Pixel but my MD did explain Fraxel skin resurfacing to me. Not sure if it's the same thing? Fraxel leaves some redness and mild swelling after treatment that does go away. He showed me on his face where he recently had it done. I opted for IPL treatment (this was a year ago) just to refresh my skin and was pleased with the result. I had to avoid the sun afterwards and use sunblock daily. Did you tell your MD about your upcoming wedding in Mexico? Ask your MD about what you can do to speed your recovery. May'be some of the girls on the forum can help out with their experiences/ideas? Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  17. mummergirl you read my mind, LOL! It seems like it can take weeks or months for the photos to be delivered. It's got me concerned since my FI has already arranged for his family to fly in for our AHR the week after we return from our honeymoon. I'm worried that we won't have our pics by then and there goes my idea of having the slideshow for AHR guests... So to the recent MRS's, CONGRATS and were you given any indication of when to expect your photos?
  18. WOW Andie, great job on everything. Your guests are going to be so impressed. Wishing you a perfect wedding day.
  19. It's wonderful to see how everything came together. Wish you all the best and can't wait to read your wedding review.
  20. Congrats and welcome to the forum. Good choice in going with Sol Melia resorts. I've been to several of their properties and they were all beautiful.
