I had my wedding there, and I have absolutely no regrets. They were amazing to deal with. Any problems I had they were more than happy to accommodate in any way in order to make things right for me. And traveling with my family believe me many things needed to be fixed. The staff were awesome. The Wedding coordinator was great to deal with. She was always available to answer any questions. The extra effort they went to to set up for us was incredible. I have yet to see another set up like that. I truly cannot say enough about the staff. The grounds are huge. They have several pools. And very clean. The shows are very good and entertaining. If you so choose you would never have to leave the resort. And something for everybody. The food at all the a la restaurants was highly recommended. And the buffets offered enough variety that you never had to have the same meal twice. The beach is beyond words. The sand is so soft and white. The ocean has more shades of blue and green than I can express. The walk into the water in a nice gentle slope and the water sports available are always fun to take advantage of. I love the Sirenis, and cannot wait to return. My only regret is that I did not take longer in planning my wedding as it is already gone, and it seemed to happen to fast! It was one of the best days of my life. A dream come true and I am thrilled that I was able to have it there. If anybody has any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I will answer them as best I can.

I know someone who got married there and was really happy with the results of the hair and make-up. The package she opted for allowed her to have a trial run the a day or two beofre so she would know what to expect and could tell the girls what she did not like. I think she turned out amazing and so did everyone else. We highly recommend them.

Oh you poor thing. I cannot tell you how badly I feel for you. To be going thru such a horrible thing when it should be your happiest days. I would not feel comfortable giving any kind of direct advise, other than maybe you (and he) should find somebody to talk to. A third party that is neutral. Not a friend that may have divided loyalties but a counselor or something. I don't know why but sometimes it is very difficult for people who love one another to communicate to that they can understand each other. I think that maybe what has happened for right now. And sometimes people just don't know how to get out of certain relationships and stay out of them. Especially when then are being chased down. He is obviously oblivious to how many ways this is affecting you and completely undermining you. I hope you find some peace and are able to get some rest. Don't forget to take care of yourself, and maybe even indulge a little. You do deserved to be spoiled a little every now and then. I got married at the Sirenis La Salina in Varadero, and they did a great job setting up the gazebo for me. There was stone walkway all the way from our room to the gazebo, and they had patio stone surrounding the gazebo for the chairs and guests.

There is nothing that you cannot give them or bring down that they will not find a use for. Money is always welcome as they can use it to buy food and other necessities. Extra toothbrushes, clothing dye, FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS, laundry soap bars, reg. soap, tylenol, band-aids, benadryl advil, midol, lip gloss, paper note pads, pens/pencils. Really anything will do.

The girls are right all you need is your passport and your tourist card number (which you receive on the way there). If you have been married before it costs $400 to have the documents translated at the Cuban consulate, and maybe about $30 for the lawyer to write an affidavit for you to bring with you. It is this affidavit that you will have translated. It really is very easy and depending on the package you choose very cost efficient. The documentations has to been there no later than 10 days before arrival (but I would never chance that). And yes your witness cannot be related to you.

Take a deep breathe and relax. Yes you are right you cannot please everybody all of the time and you will kill yourself with stress if you tried. Believe me I did. Just do the best you can and relax. I too have had the same issues with trip advisor, but you will always find people who will complain about anything or everything. I have found that if you treat people kindly and with respect that you will generally receive the same courtesy back. The Cuban people are no different. They have their jobs but a little kindness goes a long way with these people. They will bend over backwards to help make your day perfect and ensure all is right. If you have any issues you will find that someone is available to help. Nothing is impossible, just explain if things are not right and how you would like them fixed. These people are very accommodating. As foe people who complain well let me tell you about my experience. My family are not so easy going. Especially my mother when it comes to my european relations. Needless to say that right from the first things were not good. But when I explained at the desk the situation the were more than happy to accommodate. You have to understand that I went to them right after check-in, and then almost every other day after! Because my guest were all arriving at different times, from different countries. I have to say that I did hear a few complaints over the course of the 2 weeks ( I feel like I need a real vacation now, because all I did was run around to make sure everybody else was happy), but now that we are home everyone loved it and had a great time. So my best advise it be selfish. This is your time it will not come again and you should enjoy yourself as much as possible. The people who are coming are adults and should be able to take of themselves. Good luck and enjoy

Our photographer also included this in their package. We did ours a few days after the ceremony. We actually ended with 2 extra sessions as we started to loose the light so postponed the getting wet shots until the next day.

I would go with tile all the way thru, because it is attached to the bathroom. It will be easier to clean, cause less dust in the bathroom, and if there is ever a flood it would cause less damage. With tile it is also easier to roll things around, in case you wanted to add a dresser/trolley or something in there with wheels on the bottom. Good luck, have fun. I love renovating!

You could always start new traditions. Like visiting some on Christmas eve, or boxing day, instead of doing everyone on the same day. You could also try to alternate between families for the holidays. But my best advise is try not to please everyone because you will drive yourself crazy doing that. Figure out what is going to make you and your FI happiest and go from there.

Hi everybody, I wanted to share with you what I did for my ring bearer. we had our son be the ring bearer, and he is really into pirates right now. I really wanted him to be excited about the wedding so my solution was to tell him he had the job of carrying our treasure chest. Well sure enough that did it. He not only loved the box (I loved how it turned out too!), he would not give up ownership of it any point in time. Even now he has it in his room. I wanted something a little different and since our son had a love of pirates and we were going to the caribbean to get married I thought it would be perfect to have the rings brought up in a treasure chest. I found a plain wooden one at Michael's, for just over a dollar! Brought it home and painted it up! I love the way it turned out

Hi guys, we just got back. And yes they do have temperature machines, yes they are wearing masks. But they are also looking for other signs as well. If you are running a really high fever they may say something and ask a few more questions but other than that it is generally business as usual. We had no issues and one of our was sick, but they did not detain him or over question him. Good luck, and have fun. Try not to worry. Enjoy every minute because it is over to soon.

I do not think it will be an issue. As long as all your documentation is in the day before you should be ok. Try to fax or email as much as you can before hand so they have all the copies they need then they will just have to check the originals, and get your tourist card info. I know of a few girls who arrived the day before.
