Hi welcome and congrats. There are many of us here who are having a DW for the exact reason you were talking about. So you are not alone, and will enjoy this so much more than having a wedding in town. Don't kid yourself there is still stress but no where near as much. And you could do what I do.... Basically do what you want and then tell who ever (in my case, my mom wants to decide everything but for us to pay for it). This way she can invite whoever shewants and only those that really matter will be there. Those that really want to be there. And they are the ones that will probably mean the most to you.

If your friends can I would have them book through your travel agency or agent. They will be able to insure that you are all together.

I would send them out and not worry about it. If youu want to register somewhere, and you are unsure of registering for the honeymoon, think about registering with a photographer! They tend to be expensive and in the end everyone gets a picture of the two of you so they see what their money was spent on!

I worked out a deal with my photographer that included a two hour session, upgraded book and a copy on the pictures on the CD for $500.00. I had looked around and checked out lots of sites and loved her worked, but she was more than I could afford. I sent her a note and we were able to come to a package that was more affordable for me.

I have to agree with Ebbie475, it is that untouched beauty that completely awaed us. One of the things we found most amazing was the people. Here are a group of people who have next to nothing, struggle with outrageous shortages and they are happy!. They smile at everyone, they are kind and courteous. I (me a woman) rented a drove avehicle there. Well let me tel what stange looks I got because they could not believe a woman on the highway!!! They are funny and welcoming and we were put to shame for attitude towards life ingeneral and reminded of how wastful we are and how much we have to be thankful for. We want to continue to return as often as we can until we see and experience all that Cuba has to offer.

Those were great my two favorites are the one with the two of you lying down looking at the water and the one of the two of you crossing the street and kissing. Oh so cute!

I too have to say send them. If they are going to the trouble of acknowledging you on your special day, I would like to thank them. Not everyone is going to be able to make it for whatever reason. But if they are sending you good wishes it would be bad manners and karma not to thank them. Really is it that much of an incovience?

We are giving two things I like, one is a passport cover. I am picking up decal at Micheals to mongram them for everyone and also we got some blank invitation that we are going to commission a local artist to paint for us. We will frame these and give them out as our thank-you at the wedding. I like these ideas as both have to do with where we are going.

Hi ladies I just home from party packagers, and they have these great beach bags for only a $1.99 each. They are 60% off right now. The sale runs until Tuesday May 26th. The ones I bought are two tone blue but the have a green one and another that is kind of like a red/maroon. They are also decorated with three suns on the front.

Hi, I am sorry that things are not more exciting for you. How horrible to have to deal with kind of thing. But they are wrong, of course no body would go if not told about it. You tellthem and they will come! Ok not everyone but thats ok. People need to know and if they know about it early enough then they can plan for it. You go right ahead and send out he STD. I think that is a great idea. I don't think there would be aprolem. I would check it out with the WC first and ask what the policy may be. I know that in some resorts they have certain restrictions as ro which musical instruments they will have on site (ie. no trumpets!, but I am sure this won't be a problem , not a big band right!) But I don't there would be any problem, maybe even suggest that they work with the band that is there, so when they need a break your guys could play and the other way around.

I think that is a good idea. I too love to give useful and practical gifts. And most people love anything from batha nd body works. I know I do and sodo my friends! Maybe add a hand cream or one of those combo hand sanitizers with cream.

If your really love the sevond ones then I would go with them. Yes, it is more money but if it will make you happier and you love them better then that is reason enough. This is something that is always suppose to be associated with your special day, so the momento should be that special. I too have gone over budget (ha, I think almost everyone has that problem), but we only are suppose to this once so do it to the best of your abilities. By the way I could not see any pictures!

I was in Michael's today and cam across some great passport covers. They were $5.00 and came in all kinds of colors. I will be putting these in my bags instead of a tracel mug. Everyone I know has more than one and does not need another, besides I don't think everyone will have one of these but they will sure use them as they will be using their passports anyway! As to how will get it there. We are upgraded so we will have a bigger luggage allowance and I will also be enlisting the help of my mom, HOM and BM. I figure between us we should be able to get it all down there. The biggest thing is the bags (and they fold flat). So far the heaviest is the hand sanitizer. The oddest shaped is the flip flops.
