    I am in the same boat as you!!!! After putting all of my energy into having my wedding at Dreams, Los Cabos, my family did the same thing to me. All in all for me it was important to have the people we care about most there with us. Changing the location was not what I wanted but since coming to this board I see that my second choice of ROR is good too. I just think there is so much more to do in general so I am happy with that decision. It did take a while for me to come to that realization though.

    Just wanted to stick my head in and say hey before I start planning. I really had my heart set on Cabo Mexico and even set a date at Dreams, but since all of the violence out there my family has been really hesitant about even going. FI and I have decided to change our location to Jamaica so here I am starting from scratch on planning. I have a long ways to go as we can't decide on Negril vs. Ochos Rios, Sandals vs. RIU....ugh! Well we have a date of 5/8/10 so I hope we can keep that. Look forward to reading all of your reviews and planning on our big day.

    Thanks! I am pretty concerned as is my family and there is just so much information out there it is hard to fathom what is true and what isn't. people here are being told that even at the resorts people are being targeted, so its not safe there either. Honestly, I am on the cusp of deciding to change the wedding location.

    I've always dreamed of walking down the aisle to a specific song. Is this possible at Dreams? Is there a sound system that is loud enough to march to the gazebo or do you have to get a band or singer?

    I want just a MOH and BM but he has so many friends that we are compromising in the middle. Only thing is now he has narrowed down to three and I only have two. I guess I will try to talk him down to two as well. Thanks for the input!

    Do most people who do DW not have wedding parties? I planned to have a small wedding party of three bridesmaids and one of them has stated that she wasn't interested because of the expense. Did any of you decide not to have a wedding party and what were your reasons for having one or not.
