Thanks everyone!! We used our ipod for the ceremony and it was perfect!! Here is a little something about the mac makeup. They do not do makeup like they do here. Here its 50 bucks and they use all their products and what not. They do not do that there. I spoke with the manager before hand and from what I understood they did. When I got there on my wedding day I found out they don't, you have to pay like 150 or something and buy all the products. Luckily there was a young woman working there alone and she studied makeup in Canada for years! She did my makeup for 50 bucks and it was even better then here. It only takes like 10 mins to get to the MAC but they may not let you get your makeup done, I got lucky and found someone who really wanted to help me. SHe does do makeup on her own on the side and I think I may have her car somewhere. Let me know if you want it.

We just got back from Sandos where we were married!! It was beautiful, Paola is so good. Just after our wedding they closed the beach, they are removing the sand whales and putting a big pipe in under the sand so the beach will be even nicer! I will post a couple pictures from our wedding in a few days. Two things, I have left lime green chair ribbons that I brought for my wedding with Paola for future brides to use. Also if you are having your dinner at a buffet definitely go with the Italian. As for the room upgrades, originally they had just upgraded us to a hacienda suite which wasn't as nice as our Junior Riviera. I asked Paola if they had any rooms that had a separate living area and they upgraded us to a master suite for the full two weeks! It was really nice, but there are not many so if the resort is full you are SOL. The resort is big and there are lots and lots of things for your guests to do. I honestly liked staying in the Riviera section because at night it was nice and quiet.

The bonfire thing was super expensive, Paola came back with a quote of 500 or something and then a fellow from the band said he would come down with his drums and play for us at a bonfire for 600. Not really worth it, some other resorts do beach bonfires for only 80 dollars an hour or something. She sent us pictures of the two buffets but no menu examples. If anyone wants to see the pictures of the two buffets let me know!

Hey everyone!! Welcome Musika07 and congrats on your upcoming wedding! I have asked Paola, for pictures of the disco and she is trying to get some for me. You can arrive earlier than your witnesses but they do have to be there 3 days before the wedding. We decided to stay two weeks and so are arriving on the 11th, the rest of the guests on the 13th but we still cannot have our wedding until the 16th at the earliest unless we pay for witnesses. I also have Paola checking into a beach bonfire for us, we noticed it was quite cheap to do one at the dreams resort and sounded pretty awesome, she said they can do this and is just getting back to me with the price!

Nicolem which info do you want that is in attachement form?? Jrprice, is Paola allowing to just upgrade your photos? Thats one thing I asked for was to be able to upgrade from our 20 photos to the 30 plus cd and what the cost would be but she never got back to me. Yeah it is hard to choose a package, we are hoping that we will get 18 rooms and then the Riviera package is way cheaper, we wanted the room upgrade and I was going to pay to get my hair done so we just decided to go with that one. Its our wedding and we would be spending way more here anyways so why not !! I can't believe how fast January is coming!??!

I am also changing the contract, so you do not have to re-send it to me again. Below you will find a guide with all the questions that I have for the brides during our appointment. Price $220 usd For the groom if he is divorced that is not a problem because he didn't change his name after his first marriage. Now, about you, let me know if you are divorced and if so, if your passport has your divorced or maiden name? If you are divorced I'll need your birth certificate where your parent's name is shown. Also, your divorce certificate both with a legal seal & apostille done in Mexico with the wedding coordinator. These documents have to be faxed at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival to be translated by one professional translator here in Mexico, at the Registry office. The original copies will stay here in Mexico with the judge. The cost for this service is 50USD per page, paid in our appointment. Also you need to enter to the country with your single name. To legalize your marriage certificate you will need a translation of it into English and also a Mexican Apostille with international approval. This service has an additional charge of 270USD. I can arrange it for you right after your ceremony. Papers will be sent to your place and it takes around 2 weeks to receive them. Shipping fees are included in the price. Payment is in cash in our first meeting. 14. My last question is if you would like to reserve a special group of music. So Paola told me the photographer will take around 200 pictures no matter what package you get. The package number is what they actual hard copy number of the picture they give you. I am just going to add the emails the Paloa sent to me, I know that a lot of this info is already up but I will repost it again. Yeah I think the disco is awesome, I really want to do a slide show and the first dance and what not, so it will be great. I think its around 280 dollars per hour. If you have a certain amount of rooms booked, you get a deal through the resort. FOr example we got the Riviera wedding package and if we get 18 rooms booked we get 850 dollars off. 15 rooms we get 300 of. Also my TA said that through transat if we get 16 rooms booked, the bride gets 500 dollars off her travel costs. SHe also told us if we want to upgrade to first class it is 160 dollars extra per flight.

Actually Pinz we will have about 30 guests staying at the resort and a few that need day passes. We aren't going to have a private reception, it is way to expensive. We may rent the disco for a couple hours because then everything is covered and they told us we can have a microphone and do a slide show. They also only allow kids at the disco if you book it privately and my fiance and I have a daughter. OUr price per person is 1756, we are flying from Calgary but this is for the junior suite on the newer Riviera section so I guess we got a pretty good deal but it seems really expensive to me.

Yeah our plans have changed we are now getting married the 16th at 4:30!! She has been very helpful and sometimes gets back to me the same day. Congrats on having your day and time picked out jrprice, are you guys having a private reception or anything?

We tentatively have our wedding booked for 3:30 on January 18th. Paola has been pretty good at getting back to us but my travel agent contacted her first so maybe thats why. Is anyone else getting married January 2010? I think we arrive on the 13th.
