That's the same type of room I was thinking too! And of course I want a Preferred Club room, mainly for the soaking too, lol! I'm going to the TA right now, so I'll let you know what I book as soon as I get back! I'm so excited!

Haha lol! You actually do have me leaning more toward Secrets! What type of room are you staying in? I seriously think I've looked that the pictures on their website and on tripadvisor like a million times! I'm booking this afternoon, so I will definitely let you know which one I choose!

I was also looking for the same things you are. I ended up choosing the Riu Palace Riviera Maya...but have also been to Dreams Cancun, which is gorgeous!

I also used Wedding Window and I paid about $80 for one year. I would definitely recommend it...very user-friendly! The link to my site is in my siggy.

I will be booking our honeymoon this week and am torn between two resorts. Please let me know which one you would choose and if you've been to either. My choices are: The Royal Cancun & Secrets Maroma Beach Both are gorgeous, which is why I can't decide! Please help!

Sounds like you have it narrowed down to two great choices! Like Josie, we're also considering going to Secrets Maroma Beach for our honeymoom. I really like the modern look it has to it. However, I've also heard that the Palace Resorts are beautiful too! I would read wedding reviews from both places to help you decide!

I really like that idea! And definitely think it's ok too as long as you write a personal note on each!

I was actually wondering the same thing! Since it's not as many people as a typical wedding, is everyone planning on doing a seating chart and place cards? I wasn't planning on doing this. Desiree and Kelly- Just saw your response to this after I posted.

Hi Shelk- I actually just booked it just to be safe. I heard it go both ways, where some automatically got upgraded and then others that didn't. I do think that when I booked though my TA said that they upgraded me to that room for no extra cost (if I remember correctly). If you're worried about it, I would mention it to your TA now and see how much extra it would be to upgrade, so you don't have to worry about it being done when you arrive.
