  11. Black is perfectly fine. My cousin got married 2 years ago with a black/pink/silver color scheme. They even asked all of the close family members to wear black so we could be easily identified. Needless to say, it looked great. Do what you like and don't let anyone bully you into changing your mind!

  20. I'm looking for some guidance for inviting or not inviting children to my wedding in Mexico. My brother has 2 small children and there are some young cousins that are in the 8-12 year range. My thinking right now is that I would prefer for children not to attend. We're trying to keep our guest list small, inviting only parents, grandparents, and aunts & uncles. Is it wrong of me not to include my niece/nephew and the younger cousins, especially with the distance their parents would have to travel? For those of you with kids, would you enjoy this weekend away or stress about your children at home? Thanks in advance!
  21. It's common here in Indiana, too. I won't be doing the dollar dance at my DW, but probably wouldn't do it at a "traditional" wedding at home, either. I personally think it's kind of tacky to blatantly ask for money from your GUESTS.
