Hi Everyone, My Fiance and I are getting married in Aruba April 2010 at Renaissance Island. We are getting married in a Catholic church then having the reception on Renaissance Island beginning at 6pm. I'm so excited! I still have so much to do so I'm kind of freaking out!!! I'm trying to figure out what type of flowers I should have. Are you guys using the same flowers for bridemaids and yourself? My colors are coral and turquoise- any suggestions on flowers

Does anyone have a direct name/email? We are going to Aruba next month to plan everything- but I would love to contact the Renaissance first to set up an appointment. We are planning on getting married in a Catholic church. I've gotten conflicting information about Aruban laws on non-citizens getting married in a church etc. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks so much in advance!!!!!!

Also does anyone have any suggestions for Teal bridesmaid dresses. I want them to be cotton or a light fabric since we'll be on a beach. Thanks!

I really want to have the ceremony in St Fransiscus Church & Beach reception on Renaissance Island. I haven't heard back from the Renaissance hotel yet... Does anyone have any information they could forward to me? [email protected]. I'm also looking for reccomendations on photographers- should I fly one in from NY? I would prefer to use someone local as long as they come highly reccommended. My fiance and I are going to be heading down to Aruba this April (19th-26th) to start the planning process. I'm also looking to plan below: -Cameran for the day/afternoone (any suggestions??) - Hairdresser to come to me and my bridal party- or a recomendation of a great spa - Any information on Tierra del sol We want to host the rehersal dinner there. -Also any information on getting married in a Catholic church in Aruba. Welcom and congratulations! I considered RIU- but I'm leaning toward a smaller mmore intimate resort. RIU is massive and beautiful. Since my wedding will be very small I didn't want to loose everyone

Hi Mandy, I'm also recently engaged and planning a destination wedding in Aruba April 2010. I've received information from the Marriott, Hyat, and the Westin. They are all comparable in price. The MArriott has a per person price that includes everything- linens to flowers. Or a la carte options. Do you have the contact information for the Renissance? I haven't heard back from them and I'm very interested in having the wedding there. I'm not hiring a wedding coordinator. All of the resorts I've been in contact with provide them.
