  1. Wow. You did an amazing job. So much details. And such great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Yea we are staying 2 weeks. We are also doing the changing resorts. We are going to do La Blanc for our Honeymoon. I would recommend 2 weeks.
  3. I like #1 the best, followed by #2. I think the #1 shoes are fun.
  4. Congrats and welcome to the forum
  5. Hello, I am selling the Felina bustier bra 7643, size 32b, because it is the wrong size for me I purchased it from Davids Bridal, and I paid $70 for it, (and that was a discounted price). I only wore it 3 times for trying on wedding dresses, it is in perfect condition. Now that I have found my ceremony dress, I have realized that this is not going to work, as it is the wrong size, I needed a 32c. This really is a great bra, as it was comfortable and is completely seamless. I hope that another Bride can use it for her special day I am asking $40 for the bra plus shipping. Please Pm me if there is interest or any questions.
  6. Well I think the dress looks great on you, and I happen to love that dress in particular. It might appear more cut off, because it needs to be hemmed. I think once it is hemmed it will look alot different. But if you are really not loving the dress, I say go for 2 dresses. I had the same thing happen to me, and then I went and found another dress "the one" for the ceramony, and then will use that dress for the reception.
  7. Aruba, I love it there. Congratulations, and happy planning.
  8. Our colors will be Turquoise and Bright Pink, with Silver accents.
  9. I too ended up going alone for several trips, because my mother lives in another city. I would say the following would be my top 10 tips: 1. bring your own strapless bra. I found the ones they had in the store didn't fit well and were stretched out. 2. Do your hair and makeup. (You don't have to be all done up, but it helps to have more of a "going out look", since you are trying on fancy dresses). I also wore my hair up, since that is how I am going to wear it for the wedding. It really helped in getting the whole "vision" 3. Bring high heel shoes. 4. Bring examples of what you are looking for. (depending on the shop, sometimes they don't let you pick out your own dresses. 5. Do not share your budget. I told the one shop what my budget was, and they only showed me dresses that were around that price. 6. When in doubt try it on. Many times things look alot different in the bag. 7. Don't let the sales person push you into anything. Many of them will try. 8. Bring a camera to take pictures, that really helps in evaluating the ones that you like. 9. Bring any accessories that you have that you are absolutly planning to wear. My friend had vintage clips from her mother (who wore them on her dress) that were passed down to her, so it was imperative that whatever dress she selected, could work with the clips. 10. have fun. Wedding dress shopping can be daunting at times, but over all it is lots of fun. Enjoy!!
