  1. I have to agree with everyone else...even if he "lets" her go without knowing why, given they dynamics of thier relationship, I think she will tell him where she was/what she was doing. I couldn't function in a relationship like this...but I know there are relationships like this out there.
  2. Congratulations!!! You and everything about your wedding looked beautiful. The pictures turned out wonderful!
  3. Wow! In the pictures they look really similar. I think I like #1 better. I think I like the detail work better and the back of it better. I am also biased to a shorter train.
  4. My FI wanted a very specific style of engagement ring that we saw on a vcacation in St John. There are no jewelers in the area that specialize in that style. So, he ordered my engagement ring and we ordered the matching bands all via online and the phone. And, I'm thrilled with my engagement ring. We just ordered the bands and will get them two weeks before the wedding. And, I have every confidence that the bands will be perfect.
  5. I like the contrast of the second one with the white flower, but I like the length/shape of the first veil
  6. Congratulations! All the best...I hope you have a wonderful time, and that everything is everything you have dreamed of...
  7. My understanding...I could be wrong...was that the dress counted as your carry-on, or at least as your personal item
  8. I agree I would not go to the house by yourself. I would take at least someone with you and make sure someone else who is not going knows where you went and how long you should be.
  9. Beside the issue of what it is, you have to consider if it is a liquid you can only take a one quart size bag of liquids on the plane. So, unless they will all fit in one or two (one for each of you quart size ziplocs, not only are you facing an issue if it is considered flamable but will it get past the liquids requirement. Also, if they consider this a flammable liquid, you may not even be able to check it. Below is the TSA policy. None of these items can be taken on the plane as carry-on or in checked baggage. Flammable Items Carry-on Checked Aerosol (any except for personal care or toiletries in limited quantities) No No Fuels (including cooking fuels and any flammable liquid fuel) No No Gasoline No No Gas Torches No No Lighter Fluid No No Common Lighters - Lighters without fuel are permitted in checked baggage. Lighters with fuel are prohibited in checked baggage, unless they adhere to the Department of Transportation (DOT) exemption, which allows up to two fueled lighters if properly enclosed in a DOT approved case. If you are uncertain as to whether your lighter is prohibited, please leave it at home. Yes No Torch Lighters - Torch lighters create a thin, needle-like flame that is hotter (reaching 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit) and more intense than those from common lighters. Torch lighters are often used for pipes and cigars, and maintain a consistent stream of air-propelled fire regardless of the angle at which it is held. Torch lighters continue to be banned. No No Strike-anywhere Matches - One book of safety (non-strike anywhere) matches are permitted as carry-on items, but all matches are prohibited in checked baggage. No No Flammable Paints (See Other Items below for non-flammable paints) No No Turpentine and Paint Thinner No No Realistic Replicas of Incendiaries No No NOTE: There are other hazardous materials that are regulated by the FAA. This information is summarized at FAA: Home, click on Passengers, then Preparing to Fly
  10. I am so sorry to hear the sad news. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.
  11. I am so glad to hear...and it must be a huge relief. I feel bad for your colleague though...

I totally agree ...notice I did not return them even though they weren't liked.

I know other seasons have seen good dancers voted off before the bad ones becuase of popularity. That doesn't seem to be the case this year. I haven't picked favorites yet but the front-runners seem to be Melissa, Gilles, and Shawn.
  14. I can agree with some of the comments here...I'm freaky about my books. Becuase I am, I am always hesitant to lend them out. My mother is actually afraid to borrow books from me...she is my mohter so I might forgive her...because she has a habit of braking the spines or folding back pages. With my books she actually uses a bookmark. I have also read the first book of the Claiming of Sleeping Beauty series. It was a good book...you definitely couldn't put it down. And, it is the only erotic fiction I own in my library.
  15. We went on blind faith as well and a lot of help from our TA. While we had been to the Caribbean, neither of us have ever been to Jamaica. But, we wanted to choose a relatively less expensive option for our guests. Our favorite places and preferences would have been Aruba or St John, but both of these can be quite a bit more money than Jamaica. So, we went on blind faith for not only the island but the resort. Since we own a timeshare, my FI has never been to an AI and I haven't been to one since I was 18 (nearly 18 years ago) with my mother in Cancun. But, between this site and our site visit we are happy with our choice.
  16. My colors are red and light blue with accents of silver.
  17. I voted for the 11th, but could do the 18th as well...

I'm over the moon I found these! I can't argue with a great dress choice and the color is beautiful. I actually got this dress (the top is a little different) in red for my MOH and BM and paid about $125 (on sale) for each at Macy's. So, I am also super jealous but happy for you that you got such a great deal. Plus I'm glad to see someone else liked this dress style. It took my mom and aunts about two months to decide that the dress was not all that bad - I still don't think they actually like the dress. They would have rather seen my MOH and I choose a dress that is more BM-like. But, we loved it.
  19. I found just exploring the Jamaica forum to be really useful, including some of the Riu Ochos Rios (ROR) posts. I am also getting married at RMB in June.
