I'm sorry you are going through this. I think everyone has covered everything. You really need to sit down and talk this through, potentially with a counselor's assistance.

This thread has been really helpful and I think that I have my OOT bag list almost finalized. I have seen some mention that they ordered beach towels (in other threads) but no mention of them here - were they a hit or a miss? I know most resorts provide beach towels, but I thought it might be nice and something to use when everyone gets home.

My mom thought I was totally crazy until I showed her some of the pictures that are on this site. Now she just thinks, I'm a little nuts. But, seeing the pictures was a huge help in swaying her since she had to admit that they were really beautiful and they fit well with where we are doing the wedding. So, I would suggest showing them to her, if you haven't already. Also, my photographer actually calls these sessions "Love the Dress" becuase they really play off the wedding dress and since the dress is rarely ruined (unless the bride chooses to ruin it) as a result of the photo shoot. If you cannot sway her, I would say try to find a cheaper TTD dress online or for sale second hand. At least this will help keep the peace - you get the pictures and you have not risked the dress

I'll agree...since it is only the three of us and given the nightmare that the stadium area will be on Saturday, it is probably better to postpone and give it another try later.

She was unbelievable, and it said to say that it was not expected. I actually love Les Mis and that is one of my favorite songs. She did an absolutely amazing job with it. I was teary.

I am so glad I found this thread. I am constantly reading and re-reading. I also have a fairly ecclectic taste when it comes to books. I will give anything a try. I think they only thing I have not enjoyed is Sci Fi. I just finished American Wife. It is a fictional story of the first lady from childhood. But, it has definitive undertones of Laura Bush. Mine cost $4800, but I lucked out. They are honoring the negotiate rate they have with my insurance company even though I am not covered, and they were running a promotion - $500 off the cost, free whitening at the end, the retainer and 0% financing for two years. So, it is costing me $3800.

I actually get my trays next week. My colleague just went through it and she said it is uncomfortable when you change trays (which occurs every 10 days to 2 weeks - the frequency depends on how good you are about wearing them), but she reminded me you are moving your teeth, so no surprise it is uncomfortable. Also, when she initially got them it took some time to get used to them. But, overall the experience was not bad and she made it sound better than the old metal braces. And, her teeth look great! So, in the end it should be worth it.

YIKES! I do not envy you. I would second the recommendation to...grab a glass of wine, make a list and takle everything one step at a time....and if you can enlist as much help as possible!

Congratulations! The pictures are gorgeous and it looks like you had an amazing wedding. This has got to be one of the fastest reviews, but thank you so much. I also appreciate the honestly. But, I agree it is important to accept that something will go wrong and to just roll with it. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

I am having the opposite problem. We invited the kids to our DW and AHR. However, we have to keep calling friends/family becuase they are not indicating on the RSVP if the kids are coming or not. And, a few did not realize the kids were invited until I pointed out that I wrote the kids names on the interior envelope. So, while we have different problems, I can sympathize.

Congratulations! You will find a lot of useful information on this forum! Unfortunately, it is difficult to make everyone happy when planning a destination wedding. A number of my family and friends are not happy that I'm having a destination wedding, and are not/cannot come. As you explore BDW you will see a number of threads in the venting section that discuss this issue. You have to do what will make you happy and, maybe, those who are most important to you to be there. Best of luck!

I have only been guilty of this the past couple of weeks. Work has been quiet...and I'm the type I deal well under pressure, not when I have lots of time to complete my tasks. The economy is not keeping us busy enough for my taste. Yet, the company is hiring, so I guess that is good.

The topper is so perfect! It makes it so much more personal.
