I agree with Andrea! Its really tough though, I was dealing with a similar situation with my FSIL so I know where you are coming from. Its hard to enjoy the exciting parts when you have this negativity around from someone who should be happy for you. Feel free to vent away and like you said just keep enjoying all the positive aspects of having a fabulous wedding! You def do not want to deal with her on your wedding day

Im the same way! I leave everything in my suitcase and then on the last day repack it in. FI though likes to unpack everything and put it away in drawers...so odd to me!! Im also a VERY last minute packer...i will wait till the last second because I hate doing it...I hope I dont do that for the wedding though!

I will forgive her skipping mind and her fondness for shopping, thought the Dinosaur. For she fills our life with beautiful thoughts and wonderful surprises. Besides, I am not unkeen on shopping either. Now the Dinosaur and the Lovely Other Dinosaur are old. Look at them. Together they stand on the hill telling each other stories and feeling the warmth of the sun on their backs. And that, my friends, is how it is with love. Let us all be Dinosaurs and Lovely Other Dinosaurs together. For the sun is warm. And the world is a beautiful place.

Just got back from the county clerk office and we got our marriage license YAY! We are having the legal ceremony performed exactly one month (on April 8th) before our symbolic ceremony in Mexico - so fun! Also a new rule as of 2009 you need to tell them when you get your license if you are planning to change your name. You dont need to actually do all the name change thing but you need to inform them that at one point you will. PS not sure if this is just a California thing

Hoosierfan - thats so exciting to have so many guests! But also frustrating due to the adults only situation at the other larger Karisma resorts. I hope Azul Sensatori works our for you - past brides seem really happy with it! Hopefully they wont increase their 2 weddings per day

Harty- Thats great!! Such a good reason to get a new dress ;-) I actually ordered mine a size smaller (i know ur so not suppose to do that) and was super nervous for my fitting but it fits perfectly and may have to get taken in a bit KGeen - Im getting married at Azul Beach Hotel and Resort its in Mexico near Playa de Carmen. wedding planning is going...starting to get a bit frustrating with the emails on my end since our WC for our resort has a 24 hr rule and only emails you once per day so if you have a follow up question (which i always do) i have to wait another 24 hours! But I know she has a lot of upcoming weddings so im trying to stay patient

If you have 50 guests or less you can have your wedding at Azul Beach - they only have 1 per day Also I did a site visit there last year so if you have any Azul Beach questions let me know!
