    A friend of mine told me that I should consider Garza Blanca Preserve Hotel in PV, the site looks beautiful but I cant seem to find ANY online reviews for this property. Home It just opened in March so it's brand new. Has anyone visited this property?? Im considering it for my honeymoon but one of my friends is convinced i need to consider it for my wedding. Any thoughts?

    Thanks for explaining Mel&B. Edna, those pictures look GREAT! Thanks for sending them. My future husband and i discussed everything last night and we have decided to move forward with Casa Velas and plan our wedding for April. The staff has been incredibly friendly and when we visited the property in Feb we fell in love with it so we are VERY excited!

    Just wanted to bump this up. I would love to see another brides pictures of a wedding tat Casa Velas. Also, is anyone concerned about safety for guests who are going to party at the clubs in town? In the past I have had a great time going out in PV at night but lately I have been hearing scary stories about shady situations at night clubs (counterfeit money being passed around, credit card number theft, robberies etc..). I dont want to worry about any of my guests getting robbed or worse trying to get a cab back to the hotel late a night.

    I have been going to this site weekly to check for news/crime in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta, it's been very helpful. Latin American Herald Tribune - Welcome Just search for Cabo San Lucas (or any other city in Mexico) and it gives you the recent news organized by date. I have been sending this to anyone who complains and it's been helpful.

    Hi, I visited the property in Feb and fell in love with it! Both the hotel and beach club are really nice and the hotel gets rave reviews on trip advisor.com. Right now Hotel Casa Velas is number one on my list.

    Thanks for the well wishes everyone! We are looking at having it at Hotel Casa Velas in PV or Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios. I'm really want PV to work out b/c I have seen the property and love it!

    Hi, I have been gathering quotes for a 2010 wedding in Puerto Vallarta. Now I am VERY nervous about Mexico b/c of the Swine Flu virus. Anyone else nervous I dont want to change my location but it may be time for me to start considering it.
