  1. I just got engaged and I'm a newbie to all this planning - it sounds like PR could be a great option for a wedding. So far I've been thinking about DR, Bahamas, or Jamaica as well, but I'm not sure whether the all-inclusive is the way to go since some of the guests aren't big drinkers or beach people (although I typically enjoy the all-inclusive resorts). My fiancee wants to get married in a catholic church so PR could be a better option than one of the all-inclusive resorts as well. I'm hoping to keep it small 20-30 people max and have a larger party when we get home. I'm still researching and have been making my way through the different posts. I have no idea how much all of this costs, so if anyone has any budgets or information that they have compiled and would be willing to share, please e-mail it to me [email protected]. I would also love to see any pictures of any PR locations that people have used as well. I've been to PR a few times usually before/after a cruise and I've stayed at the Ritz Carlton and the Sheraton in Old San Juan so I can definitely picture it being a beautiful setting for a wedding! Again any advice is appreciated!
  2. I just got engaged on New Year's and starting to research DW's. I'm hoping to get married in the fall at an all-inclusive resort which is fairly easy to get to from NYC and won't cost our guests an arm & leg! I'm looking forwarding to going through the posts to start my research!
