I didn't see it but I heard screams and then everyone told me afterwards what happened. lol Also apparently someone put ink on my dress by mistake that was quickly removed without me knowing. We had a bomba/plena band which was a lot of fun. My flu was gone by the wedding date but I had a slight cough throughout the ceremony. Everytime I coughed my dress fell a little at the top. lol. I kept adjusting myself in front of the priest. I will post pics as soon as I get them! Evie - Congrats! I'm glad everything went well and that you were feeling better! I was away on vacation for a couple of weeks so haven't been on the forum for awhile...back to the wedding planning!
  2. I feel the same way about the traditional bridal showers. We're going to have a "Jack and Jill" party at a park so it will be more like a cook-out where the entire family comes.
  3. For my boarding pass invitations - I'm using a beige parchment cardstock to print them out as it adds some texture without looking too busy. I bought the parchment cardstock at Staples online and had it delivered to my local store...much cheaper than the other cardstock sites I saw. I felt the same way about my boarding pass "proto-types" - would they look too handmade, etc. I've actually surprised myself and I'm having fun...I'm definitely not the crafty type. They look great and as posted above - you will be your own worst critic!!
  4. I'm another Dyson lover! I have 3 cats and it's amazing how much this vacuum picks up! I have had my Dyson animal over 4 years!

I'm sure you will be feeling great soon! I can't wait to hear how everything went!

  7. Hi Jac - I need to cancel my order as I may be changing my colors - I'm sorry for the last minute change. Thank you for your understanding!
  8. Hi Jac - Thank you for organizing this. I would like to order the following - it's so hard figuring out the right colors! Do you know how much the discount will be? Thanks again - 4- PA13 4- PA21 4- PA7 4- PA17
  9. I'm interested in 15-20 of them depending on how many you have left after the above posts! Just PM if you have them and how much shipping will be to 06902?
  10. This is definitely a great question as I've been researching on the Web for reviews, etc. It seems the best reviewed is the Bose system which unfortunately is alot of $$$. I still have some time before deciding. Anyone else's experiences would be greatly appreciated?
  11. I'm planning to use size 10 envelopes to mail mine - I went to envelopemall.com and they had really neat metallic finish envelopes very reasonably priced. Reponse cards will go in the "4 Bar" type envelope. I never thought I would learn so much about envelopes!
  12. These are fantastic - I hope to download these once I get enough points..unless anyone would be willing to send them to me?! It keeps amazing me how creative members of BDW are!!
  13. I just got my monogram from Rebecca - I loved this design when I saw it earlier in the thread - It looks fantastic - thanks again Rebecca!

It was beautiful & tasty. Latinhunny - I appreciate the comments on the Salon Martorell room - it looks beautiful on the website and I'm hoping it looks as good in person. Your wedding cake was beautiful! I will definitely get in touch with her.
