Debra I love your website it gorgeous!! I'm having a good time working with Almarie and Evita. I plan on staying at the RIU for the honeymoon, is there a reason why you didn't go with them for the wedding and reception? I emailed the RIU this morning to see what they say about the 80% guest of staying at the hotel... We have to make some a final decision by the end of the week because time is ticking away...

Kimmy On the RIU website it says that 80% of your guest have to stay at the hotel is this not true? The issue is that only about 15 people are coming from Texas and the other people are located in Montego Bay and Negril... Let me know!! Thanks

Do you guys know of any local photographers in Ocho Rios?

Ok.. So hopefully all plans will be set by the end of next week. I'm currently waiting on pricing from Day O Plantation.. If that's within our budget then we'll be getting married in Montego Bay.. If not I'll be using Tropical Weddings Jamaica and having the reception at Evita's in Ocho Rios.. I contacted Evita's and I was really surprised at the prices very very affordable and she's offering to let us have the place for 3.5 hours at no additional charge!! Wow!! We originally wanted an all Jamaican feast but then realized we're gonna be there for over a week and will have plenty of time to enjoy the Authentic Jamaican food.. So Italian food will suit us just fine for one day!! The info that you guys provided was really helpful.. Thanks so much for all your help, I'll keep you updated as to what the final plans will be!!

Hello My name is Tiffany, and I'm getting married July 18, 2009. We have decided that we want to get married in Jamaica. But due to the number of guest that are planning to show we are needing help to Find Local Venues instead of booking the wedding at the hotel.. We are really trying to stay on a budget and due to hotel packages limiting certain number of attendees, the price starts racking back up by adding additional guest.. I'm looking to have about 40 people attend.. So if you have any hotel suggestions that would include this amount of people in a wedding/reception package that would be awesome...Does anyone have any suggestions or any information?
