    Oh I would love to have my wedding there....but I am looking for a place I don't have to pay an extra $3000 for a basic wedding package...but I still check out their prices all the time and maybe if I could get a good deal on the rooms, I would do it lol....keep us updated:)

    No...we haven't figured out a date yet...is that horrible or what? I like that they offer a free wedding package and even though I have checked out other hotels, I keep coming back to this one...how many people are you having? I really want to have a simple basic wedding that does not cost too much...

    Hey grab a paddle cause we are in the same boat lol except I have other people coming...originally we were gonna have it just "us" but when family/friends started finding out, they wanted to join...anywho, check out the Sandals thread on the forum and see what those girls have to say...if it was just us two, I would be picking one of those three also. My cousin just went to Sandals Whitehouse for a vacay and loved it

    I swear I feel like my head is going to explode sometimes hehe. Did you use a local travel agent or one from here? I think I just need to contact a travel agent to ease my mind...and thanks again for all of your insight into everything!

    Simistar, Thanks for the info...it was very helpful. I think it's funny that the fam was trying to get your friends to cave..and yes I know what you mean about you not wanting your fam to feel "ripped" off. I don't get to see my extended family that often either so I want to be able to spend lots of time with them too..now if I could only decide where I want it to be..I can't even decide on a destination let alone a hotel lol

    I say do whatever makes you happy and I guess I should listen to my advice...as we were planning on just going away just us two and then everyone (family and friends) were like, "oh we want to come." So now, instead of just thinking of only us, I have to consider what will be feasible for everyone else i.e. budgets, children allowed etc. So now my head is about to explode trying to pick the "right" resort. I can't even decide on a darn destination! The short version of this is do whatever the heck YOU and your FI want to do!! Good luck and keep us updated:)

    I'm with everyone else...sand ceremony reading is awesome! Loved all of your ideas and diy stuff...seemed pretty practical and not too pricey

    Simistar, This isn't a question about Secrets but I was wondering what your thoughts were about having the "symbolic" ceremony...I really don't want to have to have my documents translated etc etc so in seeing that you got "legally" married here, I was wondering how you arrived at that decision? And you kept it a secret..even better! lol...I am really contemplating this idea and not telling anyone either:) Oh and thanks for the detailed review..I love reading reviews to figure out where I want to go! I still have no idea....
