    I've been wondering what a TA for a destination wedding actually provides. I would imagine it would be more than just a travel agent booking a trip for two. Do they talk to the wedding cordinator, able to get ahold of if guests have questions about booking, group rates, additional information about wedding planning at that particular resort? etc. Having an experienced person as the middle man would take so much weight off of my shoulders!

    Thank you so much! I actually heard from my spanish professor about all of the violence and the news reported that it was unsafe for americans to travel to mexico any time soon! I about had a heart attack! So thank you for the reassurance!

    Welcome to the forum! Were also planning a wedding in 2010 in cabo. The dreams resort is amazing, atleast thats what i hear and read! I havent heard anything about the Hilton but if you have any questions just let me know!

    Tammy, your dress is gorgeous! Its pretty much exactly what ive been looking for. Its so delicate for a beach wedding...it looks like there's a glow around you. All of the dresses i seem to find are heavy and too formal. And call me stupid but what are OOT bags? I know they are bags for the guest or bridal party but what does it stand for?

    Wow..words can not describe...i have to say thank you because i was/am so worried that im going to cry through the whole thing and ruin everything, but seeing you i know now it wont. It made it all that much more beautiful! I almost cried just looking at your pictures! They're so beautiful and Juan did an awesome job! We're actually getting married at the same resort so i cant wait to have Juan take our photos!! Thank you for the unintentional help!

    I totally know how you're feeling! We got engaged this January and we arent planning on getting married until May of next year but I constantly feel as though I should be planning things already! This forum is awesome! Everybody is really welcoming and helpful!

    I love the idea of the shell holding the rings..im just afraid my ring bearer will drop them in the sand so i think im going to put fake ones in it and have the MOH and BM hold the real ones!

    I love the idea of brown and ivory! Any pastel/soft colors go great with brown. I think the chair ties in gold may be a little off or too much for your color palette of brown, ivory and yellow(flowers). I think brown would be a great color for chair ties if you could get them in the color of the bridesmaids dresses! The sunflower on each chair would tie everything together, so great idea. The flower bouquet is great since, like you mentioned, they already have brown in them. The bridesmaid dresses are cute to boot!

    Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! The assurance of Cabo being a great place for a wedding is definetly good to hear! There are so many places to look with so many options. Especially when you can't meet the WC in person! A lot of you seem to have had awesome reviews of the Dreams Cabo San Lucas which makes the process a whole lot easier to narrow the choices down.

    Hey guys, my name is Ashley. My fiance, Zach, and I got engaged on January 12 2009. We're planning on having a wedding in May of 2010 in Cabo, Mexico at the Dreams Cabo San Lucas Resort. I was so excited to find this forum through researching reviews on different resorts! I'm a little overwhelmed as to how to start planning the wedding since being a full time student and working but so far I have gotten alot of general ideas and bought a bunch of books. I'm excited to get to know all of you and learn how to enjoy this process of planning a wedding without going completely insane!
