Hi All, I have been reading alot on here how people have already booked resturant times, hair appointments, flowers etc. I am a little confused because when I first talked to Chandlyn she gave me the impression that we decide on all of that when we get there and to relax and not worry about it now. Should I really worry about those details now?? We went with the free wedding package and are going to have a reception at the Mammee bay resturant. Thoughts anyone? Kari:)

Hi, we are getting married on the 9th but will be at the RIU from April 4th-18th

Claire and Sarah have you guys mailed your paper work yet? We are all getting married around the same time of April. I am getting ready to send mine now, hope its enough time!!

My parents went to the Riu the first week of April last year and they had 7 days of sun, I guess it does rain a bit in the afternoon in Ocho Rios but it does not last long. We are going the first week of April and I am not concerned about the weather at all. We will still get married and have a wonderful day, now mind you a little sun would make it just perfect :)

Thank you for the review and your pictures look beacutiful. I am also a little worried about the flowers, if I am getting mine while walking down to the ceremony I hope they stop at the ceremony site first to provide all the bout/coursages etc

Hi All, I am wanting to put together small oot bags to welcome the guests to Jamaica, we are all travelling together and I am not sure the right time to give them these bags, it would be nice to have them ready for when we get down there but since we are all travelling and arriving together and late at night do you think giving the bags out at the at the welcome dinner the next night is ok? Also I do not want them to add a ton of stuff to these small bags, what kinds of items are you putting in your oot bags? We were thinking, purell, suntan lotion, maps of resort, excursion info, etc etc. Any ideas? Thanks for your input Kari

We booked back in May and at that time the prices for Jr Suites was $1799/pp + tax. It was hard to find a resort that was 4-5* within a good price range. Every other resort we looked at was either $2300+ for a 4-5star or a 3 star for cheaper. We are happy with our decision.

Hi All, I am thinking about releasing butterflies after our ceremony and I am wondering if anyone else has actually done this and how it turned out. It would be beautiful as long as the weather was good. Thanks for your input Kari

Hi Claire, I was wondering the same thing, hey I just noticed that you are getting married the day before me!!! We are planning to have dinner at the Mammee as well and I talked to Chandlyn about options for afterwards and she told me that most dinners/parties go on for quite a while in the resturant but if we wanted to move to another bar she could section us off a few tables. I will have to see how the dinner goes. Kari

Wow that is a really cheap price list, everywhere I have been looking on this website, the bouquets are really expensive, how far in advance do you have to book?
