We dated for a year and 5 months lol i know it sounds like nothing but after like 2 months he was already family.

Ok I'm really pissed off b/c Claudia just told me no outside vendors! WTF?! I just begged her in my last email and said we'd pay the guest pass fee and everything. I'm really mad-this is the day from hell as it is. Lemme know what she tells you.

omg! I thought the cigar roller would be a fantastic idea! My FI loves it and I know all of his friends will enjoy it. Is it stupid if we have a sign in sheet- like whenever a cigar is rolled they have to sign their name? That way we'll know exactly how many cigars were rolled. Or maybe they fired him since he was a jackass and there's a new guy now.. hmmmmm.. anywayss thanks for your review!!!!!!!!!! and congrats!!!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say I'm here, and I've been here for days now...reading & reading & reading...I am now up to page 123 (woohoo!) b/c I have stopped to click on links and look at other threads. I'm catching up though and I just wanted to say I love this thread! It really is so helpful. My FI thinks I'm a little too obsessed but whatever. Hey, did the decor for the cocktail hour come with the package or did you have to pay extra? (like the centerpiece, starfish, etc.)

Hey, how much of a credit did you get for not having dessert? Great review btw! Also, I noticed on the ultimate package it says that there is "Gazebo decor based on chairs w/ white covers, ceremonial table & red carpeted walk way." No actual gazebo decor?!! Did you get bows for the chairs for the ceremony, or does it look fine all white?

I keep hearing about Claudia Rodriguez and Moments That Matter and now I see that your pics are fantastic... What should I do How much did Cecilia charge? What's her website? Also, you said : "Flowers – A+ We picked when we got there and told her the colors and they were stunning! I loved them so much. My bouquet was even prettier in person and after the wedding, whenever I was in the room I would keep it around me because it smelled so good." --Did you go to the florist or did Claudia just show you pics? My wedding is soo far away, but I'm kinda going crazy with things like flowers and centerpieces. I want to actually go to the florist and see what arrangements he/she has done before. Hey everyone! I'm having a wedding in at Dreams Cancun in June 2010! It's absolutely beautiful there. I stayed there two years ago and when I went back to Cancun in December I stayed at Riu, and ended up making my fiance walk with me to look at Dreams like everyday! How is everyone doing? I'm already a wreck and no one is taking me seriously because they're all like "you have so much time!" Am I the only crazy one here?

Oh, and one more question-- I really like cake #2 in the VIP cakes, but I like it mostly because of the flowers.. Do the cakes come exactly like they look in the pictures? I emailed Claudia and asked but she never replied--and I asked for a clearer picture of the flowers on the cake because maybe I could just have matching bouquets...

I think I asked this before, but what's wrong with the photographer that Claudia gives? Is he/she not professional? Why is everyone looking elsewhere? You're all making me nervous! Also, is anyone getting their marriage license here and having their religious ceremony here? I'm Jewish and I'm having a tiny ceremony for family and then a symbolic one at Dreams, but the actual marriage certificate arrives a month afterwards. Does anyone know if we can bring just a copy of the license?

I didn't think about it that way...Every wedding I've been to always had cocktail hour before the ceremony (maybe its a russian thing, i have no idea).. but now i don't know when i'll take pictures! I might have a heart attack before my wedding lol! About DJs, I told Claudia I wanted one and she said to just send him a list of songs a month before my wedding, but she never told me who I'd have. Is DJ Mania the DJ she always gives everyone? Another question, for the buffet menu...Do you choose only one main course or do all of the main courses listed come? (Because it says or in between each but I'm pretty sure a buffet should have variety). Also, is the photographer that Claudia provides really bad or something? Why doesn't anyone want him or her? I never thought about hiring one outside of the hotel... P.S. this forum rocks! I'm so thankful to have found it.
