  2. While I LOVE MAC and NARS --- the best ever coverup is Philosophy Supernatural Airbrushed Canvas in SPF 15... it makes your skin look absolutely flawless! I apply it with a brush and not the sponge it comes with - and you can "spot" treat any red or acne extremely well and then just brush over it. I never have to use foundation/liquid with it while I do use Benefit Boi-ing for under and around my eyes. It's amazing and lightweight... I keep it in my purse at all times! 3. Teesha - your wedding was AMAZING!! I love your pics, it turned out great! Where did you guys find your hubby's suit? I love it! Thanks in advance!
  4. Andi- first of all... congrats!! Awesome review - you are so detailed! I just wanted to ask where you got your FG dress - it is the cutest thing EVER! Thanks!
  5. Congrats MRS!!! You looked so beautiful and so happy... thank you for sharing! And I love the chair sashes - I think that is a definite must for us! THANKS!
  6. Okay--- so I work in organ donation-- and I just noticed today on our CDC Malaria Travel Risk worksheet is Quintana Roo (Tulum) and includes all resort areas!!! I am very surprised by this b/c that is one of the reasons we avoided the DR. Was anyone else aware of this? And for past brides- did anyone use quinine or any other malarial prophylaxis?

In the meantime, I will post some non pro pictures I can't wait to see your review--- I'm glad you had Natalia, because I haven't heard that much about her yet... thanks in advance!

  9. Congrats on a lot of hard work that turned out amazing! Your colors are going to look awesome in pics!! Can't wait!
  10. To the RM/Cancun/Tulum girls..... have you guys picked photogs yet? Who are you thinking about? If any of you aren't getting married there and you're just experienced BDW'ers I welcome your input too! I am absolutely in love with Elizabeth Medina (who isn't?!?) I'm just not sure I can afford her (with a $1750 deposit up front!!!)... but it is my wedding day... eeek I'm stuck!
  11. Aw Beth I just saw your update... congrats on making the most of it... you are a trooper! I am thinking about using Claudia for my photog at DT... so I can't wait for your pics and review!

We ate from the buffet and the chef prepared the dolphin fish the guys caught earlier in the day for us! Like I said I’m a vegetarian so I didn’t eat it but our guests were amazed and everyone is still talking about the fish and the fact that they did this for us. The Chef even came out and presented it and what seasoning it had on it (he prepared it 2 different ways). First, congrats and welcome back!! You were a beautiful bride, I can't wait for more pics! What did you have to pay for the rehearsal dinner? For the projector? Thanks girl!
  17. Beth-- Congrats on being a MRS!!! I hope youre day was wonderful, I know it's been rough Can't wait to see yoru pics!!!
  18. Congrats MRS!! I just saw your pics - everything turned out wondefully! I got on your planning page to see where you got the frame for the same ceremony... did I miss it? Let me know! THanks!
  19. AH I just learned how to use the BDW site, now this?!? J/k... congrats Tammy and the rest of the girls on the expansion! I guess Twitter means you are moving up in the world :)

I'm so sorry you had to go through that... I hope everything worked out! I saw your ring on the other thread, it's gorgeous!

Right! We are looking at it positively... like this means awesome flight prices to Mexico right now haha, but really, I think we're okay, fingers crossed!
  23. Girls-- okay I know there are tons of threads on the Swine flu... but I don't want to post on them b/c most of them are about the girls in April/May cancelling their weddings and I dont' want to get killed b/c mine is in November and will hopefully be fine Anyway, I'm just weighing in with you guys... are your guests freaking out or anything? Luckily my FI does a lot with disaster/pandemic medicine so he's assuring everyone this will be long over by November! First vigilante drug dealers... now this!
  24. My FI wanted to wait to get to Mexico to find his band - but that scared me a little... and when we found this one he couldn't resist! The ocean symbolism is dear to us for many reasons - one of them being getting married on the beach in Mexico! I thought it might be cheesy - but the pic doesn't do it justice... I will post a real pic as soon as I can -- it's gorgeous! 8mm Titanium metal Comfort fit $89.99!! It's from Titanium Kay (awesome, and super fast shipping!):Tungsten Rings, Men's Jewelry, Titanium Wedding Band Ring
  25. Gina- You may want to consider somewhere like Tulum - it is kind of "off the beaten path" in terms of it's about an hour or so away from Cancun's airport, and therefore kind of discourages highschool/college kids. If you want all the clubbing and night life though, stay near Cancun! Just a thought!
