Hi ShellBelle, We're going to do it at the beach gazebo and at the Portofino for dinner. One thing i'm trying to figure out but can't seem to solve yet is the dinner chairs. I really want the white chair cover but apparently we can't have it unless it's a private reception. I wanted to buy and bring my own but the chair has armrests so I don't think i will fit. Do you know where you're doing it yet? Have you come across the chair cover issue at all?

Hi Michelle, I'll be getting married very close to your date, it's on Dec 1st. Where will you be leaving from in Ontario? I will be leaving from Toronto Pearson airport. How much did you and your guests book your package for? I got a quote about 3 months ago but at the time it was still too expensive for my guests so we didnt' book yet. What kind of flowers did you see there in December last year? Do you have pictures? I just can't wait until our wedding and hopefully I'll see you around there!

Hi Julie, I haven't booked a date yet as I'm still looking around. Erika has given me availabilty so I should be ok. My wedding is going to be in late 2009 so I guess it was ok. As well, we're doing a symbolic wedding. I'm thinking of asking my future father in-law to do the ceremony as I think it will be more meaningful. It looks like their menu has gone up though. Now it is $50-55 depending on the menu u choose. I really really want seat covers for the reception but apparently it's not possible. It's too much for me to pay for the private event just to get seat covers.

Hi Mrs. Captain, Do you have pictures of your reception? I am thinking of the Portofino restaurant. I really want covers on the chairs but Erika told me that only the private events get the chair covers. That's a little bit dissapointing.

Hi JoJo, Just wondering if you've heard from them yet? I am beginning to get very discouraged from booking at the GP when after 2 emails and 3 weeks of waiting and I still have not heard a single thing. I think I'm going to search around and find another resort with a nice gazebo? Do you guys know of any?

Thanks Gen for the email. Ladies, when you send emails to Rocio/Erika, is this the email you use? I still haven't heard from them and it's been 2 weeks already. I'm not sure if I've got the right email address. [email protected] So I've looked at some more weddings at the GP and it looks like they have quite alot of terraces at the Portofino restaurant. It seems to be a very popular choice.

I was only able to check up to October and it was more expensive than that (considering it's closer to hurricane season). That sounds like a really good idea to do your first dance at the gazebo. In addition to all the benefits of the photographer, the pictures at the gazebo will look really nice. Have you guys thought about taking your group to an excursion as an extra thank you gift yet? I read on one of the post that it was only like $14 to get them to coba and a cenote. Sounds like a good deal. I've been to Mayan Riviera before but haven't been to Coba yet so it may be a good idea. Does anyone have any pictures of their centrepieces yet? I wonder if it looks nice. If not I'm planning on doing my own and bringing it over. I've asked my fiance and challenged him to creatively assemble his own idea of a centrepiece. I'm so excited at what he's going to come up with.

Hi I am planning to get married at the Palladium in early December. I've emailed Erika for over a week and still have not even heard a response yet. Does anyone know if we pay for the bow on the chair, does that include the dinner reception at the a la carte too or only at the ceremony? It would look nice with the covered chairs at reception. BrideNov2009, I'm also from Ontario. Are you leaving from Pearson airport? How much does your package cost? I tried to look for it online but only Oct 2009 is showing. Did you go with any particular TA? Look forward to hearing from you.
