I just got married at dreams last week and all I can say is WOW!!! The wedding was magical fro beggining to end and only cost us $1500 for everything. We bought the videographer,photographer and reception it was amazing!!! The only thing i would have to say is that the beach option is a complete waste of time! I saw a couple brides get married there and it honestly looked like some pieces of plywood stuck together with some flowers...but the gazebo was absolutely stunning and once you see it in person you will melt!!! We went with the house photographer and they were honestly the BEST photos that i have ever seen! We went with the bronze package and added a few photos...believe me girls an outside photographer is NOT needed. Then for the reception we ha it on the bordeaux terrace and picked off thier menu....you have to decide the menu when you meet with the coordinator. The food was delectable....don't bother ordering the packages for the food, the restaurant menu that they provide is sooooo good! The only complaint that i have is that you only get a 3 hour reception and dinner took up half of that but we just all went to the bar after which is actually really good and they play amazing music. Girls honestly dreams will make your wedding wishes come true!

When i was married there last week i don't think i saw anyone that used a DJ. The speaker system they have is amazing and that's what all the brides used!

Has anybody else had problems with the planning of their wedding at this resort? My wedding is in 3 weeks and all that the wedding coordiantor has gotten back to me with is the menus. Like i have no idea where our reception is booked, whether she even booked our photographer or videographer or what the cakes look like or anything. We are just going with the free wedding package so that leaves alot for the imagination... I am completely stressed out and have not recieved replies in over a month!!! This is after I had at least 10 problems with the wedding coordinator herself. First she told me that i couldn't have a legal mearriage (which really sucks) because that is what we wanted. Then I have like 3 or 4 coordinators emailing me various things like: 1. You do not even have a wedding booked at our resort 2. Someone else has taken your time slot for the wedding 3. I am your coordinator please send the money for the package you want (after i already sent money and already had a coordinator 4. We have no record that you are even booked with our resort to stay. I seriously should not be this stressed but their wedding department is giving me no other options. They are honestly the hardest people to get a hold of and when you do they tell you conflicting information....I don't know what to do I seriously just want to cry

HATED the Twilight movie but am ADDICTED to the books...weird how that is eh?

Does anyone know if there is anything that is outside the resort that would be fun to do beside excursions eg. shopping, clubbing, historical sites

They also have other wedding stuff like gift boxes, favour boxes and lots of other wedding supplies. They are really good quality too!

I honestly should of taken before and afters and am kicking myself now. My mom is more surprised about my stomach's transformation. We are getting married at Dreams Punta Cana, I think that hands down it has the best wedding packages for your money..I researched for at least 4 months!

The Wedding Coordinators really ARE that busy!!! You have to think they now have to accomodate all of the brides that are coming over from Mexico to have their wedding there. When i talked to the wedding coordinator she said she had over 150 emails in her inbox and over 80 voicemails. They are great wedding coordinators and i assure you that they are trying their best!

Hi Jorge, We jsut switched our wedding to Dreams Punta Cana from Cancun Mexico because of the whole swine flu. We chose Dreams after a look at the wedding packages. Dreams seems to far outway the bang for your buck!

I just watched this show for the first time on Friday night with my FI and I have to say I am addicted!!! I kept asking if he liked this dress and that dress and he would always reply "that one is too poofy, or frilly, or don't like the mermaid style" and so on. And then out of the blue he said "I love that dress" and guess what? It looks exactly like the one I am wearing!!!! I am so excited that I know he will love it now!!!Thanks Say Yes to The Dress!!!

I switched my wedding to the Dreams Punta Cana resort. All my guests said that they would have not gone if we are going to Mexico so I had no choice. Good luck to all you Moon Palace brides that are still getting married here!

So I am an offical DREAMS PUNTA CANA BRIDE!!! I am having a symbolic ceremony on July 15th, 2009 (all the civil ceremony's were taken for the whole 2 weeks we were there . I am so happy but I just have a few questions. 1. Where are the places that you are able to have the reception and what are the costs involved? 2.In the wedding packages it says silver gold and platinum dinner and cocktail dinners. What is the difference between them? Does anyone have the menus? 3. I noticed on the website they have beautifully decorated linens and bows for the reception...do you know what the costs are? I am sorry to ask sooo many questions but my wedding is in 2 months and my wedding coordinator is so busy she can't talk or answer my emails so I am completely stressing! If there is any information that you girls can tell me that would be amazing!!!

I was also wondering about the wedding packages. It says that for the package you get a Special Gold Wedding Dinner Party and a Special Gold Cocktail party. Do any of you know if that means they give you a private reception?Or a private dinner? Also what is different from the Gold to the Silver...someone please help me out with this as I have to book with this resort soon and I now only have 2 months to plan this dream wedding! But to tell you the truth it looks like this resort is Way better then the one I was initially supposed to go to....so maybe things really do happen for a reason!

I am in a really big nightmare right now. Our wedding is July 16th at Moon Palace in Cancun and they have already banned travel until June 12th. All the guests have called me and said that they are not going regardless of if the ban is on of lifted. So I talked to my travel agent and they won't give us a damage deposit back or change or trip until the ban is extended to or date which really pisses me off. I am NOT going to bring my 2 year old son that has an immune deficiency disorder to go to Mexico. So here is my problem I have heard that so many Dreams brides from Mexico have the oppurtunity to change their dates to Dreams in the Dominican so if I don't get this scheduled before the ban hits then I will not be able to get married here. My TA said she can transfer us to the Moon Palace in the Dominican but HELLO they don't even have a wedding department yet and they are getting horrible reviews on trip advisor because have of their ammenities aren't even finished being built yet. And all my guests don't want to lose their damage deposits to book here now and pay more later....I AM SO FRUSTRATED!!!
