Hi ladies! I just booked my wedding at the new Sandals property-Emerald Bay for March 19, 2011. I've been engaged for just over a year and happy to finally have something booked! Now I feel like I can finally get started on all the fun details!

Welcome! I too have been engaged for quite a while and still haven't chosen a location or resort. I recently started using a travel agent and she has been really helpful in showing me locations/resorts I hadn't previously considered. Good luck!

Wow! Those are awesome pics! I love how the colors you chose to wear, really coordinate well with the water and sand. I'm thinking about getting married in St. Thomas but not until March 2011. Where are you getting married?

I, too, am probably going to be a St. Thomas bride. My fiancee and I have decided to wait until early 2011 to get married so we can save money before the big day! We are thinking about we'll have about 50-60 guests. We'd like a simple beach ceremony and then a typical reception hopefully on a beach area or poolside. I guess I'm just trying to decide to do it on a public beach and hire a wedding coordinator or do the whole thing at a resort, such as the Marriott. I know we are still 2 years a way, but I'm so excited to start working on small crafty details such as save the dates, etc. that I want to at least get date and location settled Am I way too early? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
