We did the sunset catameran cruise, which if you did not book already, is not available. Either way the place is AMAZING!!! And Rebeca, the wc, is unbelievible! There were 24 of us all together and 8 other people at the resort when we arrived. Talk about a private event. We did the cocktail rehersal on the second terrace with a breath taking view of the sunset. Then did a sit down dinner at the restaurant, where everyone choose their own choice for their meal. The day of the wedding for the dinner reception, we did do a set menu salad caprese, crab bisque, spinach chicken dish, and then our cake for dessert. I posted pics on trip advisor. You will love the place!! I will say, I am a little crazy because we got to Cancun, Moon Palace, on the 4th and then I had everyone move to Isla Mujeres Palace on the 8th, which was the day before the wedding. It was a little stressful because there was so many of us, but I liked changing it up. I hope this helps and let me know if you have anymore questions. All of my guest said it was the best wedding they had ever been too and could not believe it was that easy from the US. Best of luck. Oh fyi, I stayed with the package and no extras. The only things I brought were welcome bags, bells for people to ring after the wedding, our glasses, my dress, and fans for the guest. That is all you need. Again, best of luck!

Rebeca is the wc at Isla Mujeres and Le Blanc Spa. With that said, we just got married at Isla Mujeres Palace, AMAZING, Rebeca was perfect. Everything I didn't think of, she had covered. She greeted me before I even stepped out of the cab to waying me good bye until the taxi pulled of the resort. I was and am so grateful to her!! Good luck to all of you ladies.

Yes, thank you so much for the review. We are getting so close to ours and can't wait. You had a lot of helpful hints for me and luckily my mom speaks spanish for the communication barrier. Congrats on your marriage!!!!! -
Oh my goodness, I am so glad you posted this review. We are getting married at IMP on 09/09/09 and I was considering the harpist. I was not sure on the added $400, but now I am pretty sure we will not worry about him. Every review I have heard about the weddings at IMP have been top notch. Even Rebeca, WC, has been on me every step of the way. We are so excited!! Congrats to you and your new future!!!

New Trip Advisor Post!! “My perfect wedding!†Isla Mujeres Palace Inlivewire 1 contribution Atlanta, GA May 1, 2009 I had my wedding at the Isla Mujeres Palace. It was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty. The staff was friendly and extremely attentive. If you needed something, they had it for you in record time. I had 25 guests staying at this resort and every single one of them have raved about the resort. It's small but intimate. The liquor is all top shelf. My guests were drinking Don Julio the whole time. The food was really good. I have high expectations for food and I knew it wasn't going to be 5 star quality, but it was very good. It was 10 times better than I would ever expect from an all inclusive. I am in serious withdrawals from their chicken tacos. I had never been to an all inclusive, but some of my guests had and they told me it was much better than any all inclusive's food they've ever had. The pool can get a little crowded when the guests come over from the Moon Palace, but you never have to fight to get a chair. There was always room for a group of us to sit together. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The jacuzzi tub was enormous! If you're thinking about having your wedding here, it's amazing! My wedding planner, Rebeca bent over backwards to make it a wonderful occasion. It was a BEAUTIFUL setting and it's not a crazy crowded beach so it was still very private. I did a private reception up on the terrace upstairs. We had our own bar and 5 wait staff tending to our every need. I could not have had a better location for my wedding. We went to a much larger resort for our honeymoon and missed the Isla Mujeres Palace. We missed the attention we received, the quality of the liquor and the food. If you are the type that loves huge impersonal resorts, this isn't the place for you. There is only one restaurant and a snack bar. There isn't huge amounts of activity every night. This is a place where you go and relax and get treated like kings and queens. I hope we're able to go back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary here. Thank you Isla Mujeres Palace for making my wedding a magical event! My ratings for this hotel are: Value Rooms Location Cleanliness Service Date of Stay: April 2009 Visit was for: Leisure Traveling group: Large Group/Tour Your age range: 25-34 Member since: May 01, 2009 Would you recommend this hotel to a friend? We are getting married in September and I always joke about a hurricane hitting, but I know either way we will make the best of it. It is really about us getting married and spending the rest of our lives together. Think about it this way it will make great for story telling and no one will forget it. 09/09/09

I don't even want to think about it, but my mother is driving me crazy worried about the tourism alerts for Cancun. I know it has been on the news and on the front page on the Sunday Houston Cronicle about teens traveling to Cancun for Spring Break. Everyone knows how the media loves to hype everything up and I just wanted to get the other brides on this forums opinion. Does anyone know first hand on the situation with traveling to Mexico? I would love to just ignore it and hope for the best for our wedding in September, but it might not be wise. Please let me know what you know about the situation or opinion. Thank you, Monica
