I think the hair looks great. But what you think is what is important. If you are like me and the pic swath of hair swept across the front concerns you just have her break it up into about 3 separate sections. This gives it some texture to that area and looks great. My hair dresser did that because I was unsure as well. She also let two little curls fall on that side for fun... not sure about that part but had the same concern about the front.

Hey, sorry I have been off the forum for a few days. 1. Yes, in order to all dine together because of their pacing you eat at the main terrace. She is notorious for giving you the details of what you actually asked but nothing else. Calling her directly has been my savior... should have done it a long time ago. 2. So we will see if it works out, but I managed to get ahold of Keisha via phone today. We clarified a bunch of stuff including that the total for the cocktail party quote was for a different menu and included the bar at $40. WHo knows. Anyway... I gave her the info for just platters and a bar and she confirmed that she would get a quote from food and bev by Wednesday. She also confirmed a few other details for me. I think she knows that we are serious and will not be put off. Maureen, you were right... phone is the best with her and morning is the best time. Thanks. We'll see what price comes back.

Who told you this? It is incorrect! Keisha will have a section reserved for your party but it must be at 6:45 for a 7:00 seating. Everyone will be seated together. We are doing this and I confirmed it when I finally got ahold of her today via phone.

That was clearly a lot of work but what a great way to get your guests all excited to join you!

FI and I were going to forego the expense of engagement photos because we really had no need, but then we decided to do the sand frame and needed a pic that we were willing to stare at and have others stare at. Just a quick shoot at Studio 121, great people. My wedding photographer is in another state, so this worked out well. We will be using one in turq shirts for the frame.

You all are right... I guess I just have moments of frustration. As Holly knows... my biggest demons are health issues that are preventing exercise and healthy loss like I tried for. He tells me frequently he is marrying all of me, not just a body. Hey, with a little Spanx and a push up bra, I am a force to reckoned with.

Holly, we are more alike every time I read. First of all... there are a lot of similarities in our dresses too! You do have more of a train than I do, but I had the same comment about my bow (corset backed like yours) and my train. I say let it drag and be gorgeous and have someone help you shake it out and bustle for afterwards.

I can tell you had a fun and productive time the past few days! I am in love with the idea of the luggage tags but am not sure I would have the patience.

Maureen, thanks for the help. I have the same menus. Did you know that the menu for a cocktail party does not include the bar? Lovely! Is it tacky to send my guest over to the main bar to get something to drink and then come back. I am really flustered. I am going to try to call her again tomorrow morning. KJT1985, she responds to my emails within a few days usually, and I always put our names and wedding date in the subject line, but you will begin to notice that she only actually answers part of your questions and the beginning and end of the email are stock wording.

My cake is just a very simple white cake. I have some shells and starfish to put around it. But I am not a huge cake person so I am not willing to spend lots of money on it. Thanks for the compliments. I think our family is going to find it pretty funny because we have not told them yet.

Haven't people learned? Don't piss off the bride. I am usually a very go with the flow person. I have even been a very go with the flow person about this whole wedding planning. Now I go for a final quote and try to nail things down with the WC at Breezes Runaway Bay and I can not get ahold of her by phone, her email communication never answers my questions and she is trying to quote us like $60 a person for a private 90 minute cocktail reception with just some platters of veggies, crackers, fruit, etc and a bar for 30 people. When we talked about this earlier it was $15 pp. Now its $60? Apparently the first quote was just the food, no bar... really? A $45 pp bar at an all inclusive resort? I have also asked for confirmation of a few times so I can put a schedule in my welcome letter and can't seem to get that either. I accepted that the lack of detail in communication several months ago was because I am one of so many brides and I was still months away. Now I am less than 3 weeks... think we could get this worked out? Two dinner confirmations, a tee time, a really basic cocktail reception, and a time quote for the tour on Sunday. Not alot to ask is it? I guess it is time to go over her head... but this woman has control of my wedding... I don't want to piss her off, but she has already really upset me. Help!

I was in the same boat... flattering and up because other wise I will be a frizz ball but nothing too tight so it looks like there is no hair to soften my face. At my trial we did not acheive it completely, but know what went wrong and she is confident in what to change to do it for the final. The key is to have many sections of hair in the front so it is not one piece. Then let some pieces fall in the front and make sure the hair sits in a way in the back that will be seen from the front. Mine will be in sections like this picture and then gathers to a soft ponytail with lots of curls.

I ordered mine from the site mswhatever talked about. They are absolutely amazing and I love the custom frame, but the directions in your other template looks amazing... hope it all works out great for you too.
