Welcome to the forum. I am sorry that you are having a tough time deciding what to do. I know you want ALL of your friends at your beautiful beach wedding, but maybe you could go ahead and plan the dream wedding that you want and them simply have a small party when you return home for the friends who could not make it. Maybe wih just a cake and desserts?? Don't give up on what you really want in your heart It is fabulous in the Caribbean, trust me and you will remember it for your lifetime.

I have photographed at the Atlantis and also Moon Palace where it states no outside vendors. The brides simply told the coordinator that I was a friend and it was fine. We had a blast at both weddings! Good Luck and feel free to ask questions on the forum. Happy Planning -
Many professsionals would be more than happy to accomodate your requests. Especially to add a great location into thier portfolios/website. It sounds like you have some great ideas and would be a blast to "work" with also. Simply contact some photographers that you like and ask. Happy Planning!!!

I have been to weddings at Moon Palace. It is beautiful! I am a vendor, but not trying to solicit work,but trying to help. IF anyone simply wants to see some of the wedding set-up in a chapel or other parts of the resort you may view some on my website in the Mexico gallery. It always helps to be able to visualize everything especailly planning fro the states. Hope it helps

I agree! Take one with you. One that responds to your emails/call the same day. You are getting married and have lots to plan and do not want to have to worry about when or if your photographer will get back to you. Even the little questions are still very big to you Many US photographers will accomodate your requests for specific packages that you are looking for and work out better in the long run. Starting off on the right foot is so important...it's your wedding
