HAPPY NEW YEAR! Ok, so i signed up for theknot and wedding channel etc. And today I received an email and on the subject line it said-YOUR WEDDING IS IN 6 MONTHS! I just freaked out.. 6 months no one has responded yet to our emails.. My invites are going out by Feb. I hope everything goes smoothly. All but one of my bridesmaids has been fitted..still waiting to order. For coral bridesmaid dress- what jewelry would match nicely... GOLD OR SILVER?!?

Just thought I would pass this information along to you guys as well. Make sure to ask your coordinator about it. Thanks for the information. I also believe they are charging ridiculous prices for the flowers.

People RSVPing.. They suck.. We have yet to send out our invitations, but we have a wedding web site and we recently sent out an email to log onto our web site and let us know if they plan on coming which room category would they be taking so we can block off rooms.. I had 3 people answer.. my parents, my in-laws and my close friend. Seriously annoying!

It must be horrible to not have contact with your WC esp. since it is close. I would seriosuly start complaining. I kind of understand that it may take a week for them to respond, but they should seriously be in more contact w u. I hope it works out and I am sure this is not helping with limiting stress.. Anyway.. Hope everyone had a great holiday. My fiance and I are working on our Passport invitations. I hope to have them done and readyand sent out by the end of Jan.

I cannot wait to bake cookies!! Excuse for a lazyyy day.. I love when it first falls and sits for a little it looks gorgoeus, but I hate it when it gets dirty and yucky. Shoveling does suck-although I never shovel! Bring on the snow.. I bet it wont even be that bad or even fall that much. But I am hoping =)

I am very excited about this. I am anticipating a lot of snow! I want to be snowed in..so I can make cookie dough for the holidays...watch movies..and drink hot coco. Just an excuse not to go out out-and I love it! Anyone with me? Or against?

Have them call for you and bug them. I would start calling on a regular basis and emailing.. Your wedding is close, but you do jhabve some time, but I would start nagging now.. they need to keep you satisfied. I also think that some people are in contact w the general weddings dep. like myself and not their actual WC.

I have a question for those of you who have gotten married on the beach at the moon... There is a plank they lay out for us to walk out on, but where do the bridesmaid stand during the ceremony?? On the sand? Bc my girls r thinking about walking barefoot..so now I am not sure if barefoot or fancy flip flops Thanks so much Veronica- Thank you for responding on the other thread

Oh my.. I normally check this web every day. I have no idea how I missed the new posts. Maybe it was done today (i didn't even check the dates). Anyway, congrats and welcome newbies! Ugghhh... I am so sorry your bridesmaids are dropping out. Do not let that bother you and get you upset. (I should take my own advice sometimes) Everything will fall into place. It does not matter how many bridesmaid, guests etc you have. As long as your immediate family his immediate family are there then you are set. Your friends are important too, and those that can come will come and those that cannot will be wishing you well at home. Your wedding will still be great. No worries! My Issue- I sent an email to my bridesmaids -two out of ten have responded. No one understands

I know I know don't settle..!I believe they extended the Tax credit until April. Not sure what states that qualifies for though. We just want to find something we can see ourselves in and not have to completely renovate. I do not want to rush, but the tax credit could help in the end just a little. Thanks for the advice.. hopefully we will find something soon!

Thanks..I have searched n searched the internet. The housing market is suppose to be on the buyers side...but I do not see that much of a difference. PLUS-it seems like every house we look at, there is always a catch. sigh sigh!

I knooow i have ten now, and I already had some say they may not be coming. I had to give them a "deadline" though. I need to order the bridesmaid dresses the beg. of Jan to have them in on time. I said if they decide to come last minute we will work something out. Question: Beach wedding! Did not think of this... My aunt said she went to a wedding on the beach and her chair kept sinkin into the sand, so did her feet. I am assuming this will happen to my beach wedding guests. I wonder if I should say everyone come in nice flip flops? What is another way? Is that silly? Also, do the bridesmaid stand on the sand as well? If there is not a platform for them, I prob will have them barefoot.

Just venting My fiance and I have been searching for a home for about a good 6 months. It is such a frustrating process....Esp when we have somewhat of a time period. For first time buyers we get around 8,000 back in taxes if we purchase a house before April. That does not leave us enough time..or if there is time...where are the houses?!?!?
