Does the resort provide candles & lighting?

I am planning to have my reception on the beach. Any tips on candle lighting? I almost bought tealights last night but then started to wonder if it would be too breezy on the beach to stay lit. Any suggestions/experience with candles on your table(s)?

Does anyone know how long in advance you have to arrive for a symbolic ceremony? Is it 3 days? Business days? I tried to search the answer, I know it has to be in this thread but I couldn't find it. I want to purchase the vacation package tonight or tomorrow. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. It's great that you have a lot of planning time. There are so many resorts to choose from that it can be overwhelming and send you in circles like it did me. My advice is to make yourself a guideline of what are the most important criteria for your experience and narrow it down from there. You really can't go wrong in such a beautiful place.

I'm a June 2010 bride! I have to start narrowing down the details because time flies and I have not done much because my date feels so far out! I am hoping to hold and outdoor reception on the beach for my June 22, 2010 date, but will it be too hot out? I'm hoping the ocean breeze will keep us cool because I really want it outdoors!

I found a cheaper and flowy dress for my TTD. I personally want to keep my wedding dress in tact for life to pull out sometimes for memories, or maybe one day I may have a daughter that wants to check it out.
