Hello All, I have decided on Moon Dance Cliffs, so I will be here often! I have spoken to Kim a few times and she is very helpful. Claudette, I am so relieved to here that I'm not the only one still trying to get things on the road, my date is 8/29/09. I have just picked the save the dates but need to order them, the place where you are getting yours from was on my list. Choosing the location was mostly the hold up. Next I am going to do our website using weddingwire.com. I also need to put my deposit down on the 1bd villa with 2 floors, forgot the name. I felt a little bad cause I feel like I'm behind in planning but things will get done in due time. Christina, another bride emailed me a spreadsheet she used to narrow down her coices. Basically you have to decide on exactly what you want and then do a process of elimination based soley on the main things that are important to you and your FI. I am not a big fan of AI, but you do what you like. I eat small portions and I like to go and venture out, meaning I may not get my money's worth with doing AI. Another thing to consider is if someone doesn't like the food for whatever reason it's kinda a waste. Good luck with making your decision. I was just was at that same point and was fed up and had to just make a decision, like you said it's a little more difficult once you start planning.

I have been to Ochio Rios and the Jamaican people were very nice compared to some other places I have visited. I am planning my wedding in Negril and don't feel thertened in any way about our location. If you feel it necessary or that it will help you can get some facts online or call JA about their crime rates and pass the information on to your guest. One thing with planning a destination wedding you have to accept the fact that everyone is not going to come for various reasons, you have to decide what is most important to you and your FI, it's your wedding!. I have a question if anyone can answer, please do. I understand the package price, the additional per person price, and the fee to have a private reception. My question is do you have to pay any more for the reception dinner because I am under the impression that the additional per person price is just to cover the ceremony portion, correct me if I am wrong.

OMG! My Birthday is the 1/19, what a good date!!! Thanks for the advice and your right I just need to make some decisions because ther are too may options for me. I love options but always get overwhelmed! I have been on trip advisor and took some notes. I am heading off to Vegas in a few hours to celebrate my Big 30, I'm going to take my notes and paper work with me and make some real decisions while FI does his gambling thing! I am running out of time and I need to select a location ASAP! I am looking at several locations in Montego Bay and the Moon Dance Cliffs in Negril. The problem is I am trying to look through all of this information and make a decision based on the best options for the best price but it's kinda hard to compare or either I'm making is harder than it has to be. It's so many options and things to consider and some of the information I need to make my decision I don't have. I think I just need to be very strict to cut down my options and that may help. If anyone has any helpful advice I would appreciate it, thanks.

Congrats! You have plenty of time to narrow down your choices and even take a trip there to do a site visit. If you search around on this site you'll will probably get some other information on those locations and a TA. Good Luck!

Hello All, I'm going to try my best with this, I've been trying to post for a few days now. However, I am looking at a few places in Montego Bay and Moon Dance Cliffs in Negril, Jamaica for our 8/29/09 wedding. I now, I now, time is running out, at least I have chosen an Island, after getting information about locations at every other Island in the world.
