  1. Probably not for another year - isn't that how the seasons run on Showtime these days? It's a long time to wait! Shane may look like a completely grown man by then!
  2. Hi! I want to do an instant-photo guest book and found some great handmade options on etsy, but now that polaroids (or at least the film) are harder and harder to find, I wanted to see if anyone had success with the FUJI version (FujiFilm Instax 200 is what I found online) or another option?
  3. We decided to register since more than half of our invited guests are not coming and without a registry, I fear what my some of my family members would come up with for gifts. I think we'd end up with a lifetime supply of carved soaps from one of my aunts. I certainly don't expect those who are coming to get us a gift, but I know many will just by choice.
  4. Good for her - I'm glad she's contributing to the gorgeous population!
  5. I'm laughing at the cocktail napkin part - I just got mine in and showed it to my bridesmaid with great enthusiasm and I don't think she shared the same level of joy as I did! God bless our forum friends!
  6. Welcome to the forum! I know you'll find some good advice here to help you find a place for a Sunday wedding. Good luck!
  7. Hi guys - my rsvp date is Sept. 15th. I like the rsvps I'm getting back with guests where people weren't invited with guest. It doesn't make me mad as much as it just makes me laugh. Not everyone knows wedding etiquette, do they? I guess we are all too knowledgeable by now!

Hey Ash - Would love your opinion on the different restaurants and the food. Also, is there a good bar/lounge for between the ceremony & reception for people to gather (without doing a private event)? I have about 70 guests, so I wanted to direct them somewhere manageable (all adults, too). Thanks!
  9. Loved last night's finale! Shane is becoming one twisted, yet interesting, character. And Celia's imitation of Nancy with her "team" is priceless.

    Hey!

Congrats Christina! Welcome to the forum!

Its in the private banquet kit...am I right about this ladies? Hi ladies - I'm doing a private event, and the linens, chairs, etc come with it. Now if you want colored bows on the chairs, that's extra. We are doing Option #4 and that comes with the bar package. I just got my spreadsheet back from my WC and there are no "odd" charges listed.
  12. I wish Kourtney would keep a few details to herself that she's divulged recently to the press. Such as: missing her pill, considering not having the baby, etc. We really don't need to know EVERYTHING.

  14. I'm changing my name, but I don't think that will change what people call me. I have a friend from college who got married 11 yrs ago and I still call her by her maiden name. I'm going to have to keep my maiden name on business cards and in my work email for a good while, though. That's going to be tough to change with clients I don't see often!
  15. I used to live in Chicago and both of Rick's restaurants are really great - but now I feel like I need to buy his cookbooks too! I think the girl who didn't know what clams were is probably soon one to go...
  16. How does Kim afford all of the luxuries she has? Has anyone read anything about the kid's dad and if she got an awesome settlement. Her house may be smaller than everyone else's, but she sure shops like she has unlimited funds! I don't think BRAVO pays them THAT much.
  17. This is a huge help. We are planning to do a similar trip, so that's for validating that our plan is reasonable (2 weeks from San Jose to the coast). I may PM you for ideas around must-do's/must-see's!
  18. That is very cool. I also saw some sets that have lids you can put on - wonder if you could stuff something on top and seal it up for the trip home!
