I think I could have done it in PowerPoint as well, InDesign just helped to make it a bit more crisp and professional. Oh and thanks for the comments all!!! I love the colours too! I didn't want to hold back on the brightness that's for sure
  2. I love it too but I read something online today that some critics said the pilot made it a hit but that the episodes to come aren't nearly as entertaining....hopefully they are wrong...fingers crossed!!!

  4. If you are looking to buy one I saw some cute ones on Etsy :: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade
  5. I totally like #1..it's super cute and the price is most definitely right!!!
  6. I still say write him a letter....tell him how you're feeling and what this is doing to you. Unless you don't think he would read it. Oh and BTW handwrite it, don't email it or type it on the computer. I hope this ends for you very soon!
  7. I can hardly wait!!! Seriously i'm having a hard time here...True Blood is an addiction
  8. Hi All, I've been putting this off until I picked my colours which only happened a few weeks ago. Let me know what you think!!! For whatever reason it shows a lot nicer when you click it larger. I'll have to look into what I did there.
  9. Hi All, Sorry I meant to put these up earlier. I apologize in advance as the suit was quite wrinkly. We are having it dry cleaned so I didn't want to iron it if I didn't need to This is the Pure Irish Linen fabric in pure light beige: I tried to get it in some natural light: Hanging up: Open: Partial Open: Sorry no pics of the pants. They are wrinkled beyond belief, oh the joy of pure linen These pics do not do it justice. It's so light and comfortable. My FI absolutely loves it. FYI if you order the pants in the classic comfort fit please be aware it will NOT fit like a regular suit. It's a bit more relaxed. There are other options for straight leg ect. We took it to a suit shop for the alterations (due to our own measuring mistakes) and they absolutely loved it in the comfort fit and begged us not to alter it due to the way the linen would hang.
  10. Wow those are gorgeous. I love the evening pics of you guys...they are stunning!!!
  11. Hey Everyone, I'm just wondering if any of your know of some amazing places to have a Trash the Dress session in PV? We are flying our photographer out and he's never been so we kind of need some assistance in finding the best spot. BTW...I love, love, love rocky beach landscapes. We are staying in Bucerias, just a little north of Nuevo Vallarta and i'm hoping we won't have to travel too far. Any info/pictures you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!!
  12. You're totally doing the right thing by giving him his space. A lot of women can be very aggressive in this kind of situation and demand a solution and while with certain men that may work, to others that only makes matters worse. When my FI and I get into a major fight we will write a letter explaining the situation and how sorry we are and pretty much just say everything we need to. It's usually hard to write them but at least it spares the emotion that can get in the way of your brain functioning properly when talking in person. If i'm in the wrong I will write a letter and leave it somewhere so he can read it in private. It's just an idea...even if you just left him a note that says "Always remember that there isn't anything in this world that would stop me from loving you" I'm sure things will get better for you guys soon
  13. I also like number 2 but number 1 came in a close second!!! You should set up a poll to track this info.
  14. I have to admit I was worried about the last little guy. Such trust in his master. My little guys are sometimes brave enough to jump from the couch to the chair but thats it
  15. I saw another dog post on here and I received this link today and it made my day so I thought I would share it!!! These dogs and the trainer are incredible. They all look like they are having so much fun! Wag Reflex: One Heck of a Dog Trainer

  17. I wouldn't stress too much about it. I think you will be just fine within your budget. You'll have a much better idea by the time you send out your formal invites in January.
  18. Although there is cleanup involved, I also think the look of petals in pictures is stunning. My issue with bubbles is half the time people aren't ready with them and then by the time they get them out you've already walked down the aisle. Petals are easier to have ready!
  19. I sent out about 75 and I only have 30 confirmed and maybe only 5 more that will show. The only reason we ended up with 30 at all is that over half of them are my close family. Unfortunately quite a few people, friends in particular, will not be able to make it or are last minute which does make things tricky! Personally I think you may want to change your budgeted number to 75 people and that would be safe. Do you have a big family? We made a list of all of our friends and family and categorized, YES, NO & MAYBE. We allocated about 10 spaces for maybe people within our final budgeted number. Plus you have time here. Your wedding is in May 2010. A good idea is to see what people are saying after Christmas. That's the make or break holiday
  20. Lucky!!! Both of your dresses are so amazing....can't go wrong with a Maggie I'm an Eleanor Eleanor - by Maggie Sottero
  21. Jocy you look amazing!!! I agree with islandbride317 you look a million times better in it than the model, clips and all
  22. Do you mean wedding sites to create your own website? If so I used Wed Quarters, it's not free but it's super cheap (like $36 for the year I think). I loved all the templates and found it super easy to set up. You can do a 7 day free trial and see if you like it!!! Hello!

Congrats Girlie, My Tip...make sure you've got an idea of your budget and your guests budget before you select a location. All inclusive would likely be your best bet on a budget but you could also look into rental properties!!! I personally chose Puerto Vallarta to fit into our budget, I would have loved the Bahamas or St Lucia but it just wasn't reasonable for us and our guests. Good luck...you find so much amazing info on here!!!
